Boycott ... Warmode?

No the problem is you’re PAID to group up and kill Horde and we aren’t.

A few weeks ago Horde wouldn’t need a raid. As soon as you faced any resistance you’d decide it wasn’t worth it for 370 gear and leave. Heck there was an Ally farming group of about 10 people moving from Azerite quest to Azerite quest last week. They’d farm 1 or 2 people until 4 or 5 Horde started fighting back then the alliance all run away.

They didn’t need 10% for the last 14 years, why is it needed now all the sudden? World PvP shouldn’t have a bonus for the risk, the reward for it is engaging in PvP and honestly should be Honor/Conquest Points if anything.

I am an OG warmode boycotter. lol. well, make that an OG not bothering with warmode.

i feel like pvp should yield pvp rewards. blizzard is making a huge mess out of warmode.

Groups of alliance players are going to tell you that they have statistics that says otherwise. Of course, they will provide nothing, just say it’s something they heard Ion said

I’d be fine with no WM bonus. i think what alot of people forget about, which is the main bonus for me in WM, is that you get to use PVP talents.

Potentially the most effective implementation would be to base the rewards on each individual zone. Because from what I understand/assume, the rewards are based on every person on each faction that is on warmode throughout the game.

If they did it per zone then these alliance, or horde gank raids would probably be given the 10% while the other side got the 30%.

Yeah i like a lot of the pvp talents just for questing.

the 30% is whatever to be honest, it’s nice for leveling alts. but the free gear we’re getting is only going to make the Alliance more carebeary than they previously were and now they think they’re hot shoot. it’s hilarious but also kinda sad.

That’s not the point of the bonus. Ion said it’s only there to actively get Alliance players to hunt Horde while trying to fix the population balance.

When the shard problems early BFA that caused most of the Alliance to turn WM off was going on a ton of Horde PvE players turned WM on to abuse the 10% rewards with no Alliance fighting back. Ion made the Alliance Horde hunting quest to try and force these players out of WM.

It’s working but I think he did a poor job with the quest design. I really think he should make it so we need 10 kills in let’s say 5 zones. That way it will take more time for us to finish and it happens over the course of the week. It would also have us target the PvE players that are just out farming and doing WQ’s. Right now we are mainly killing Horde in Drustvar where the pvp 10 kills quest brings us this week.

The only reason you need is “because it’s fun.” If you have any other reason for having it on, you’re doing it wrong. Which is evidenced by the fact that all of ya’ll coming here to complain about how you can’t get anything done in warmode now only have it on for the 10%.

I wouldn’t mind switching back and forth between the Alliance and the Horde based on the War Mode bonus, but since it stays with the Alliance I’m guessing the faction gap is quite big. Or Blizzard isn’t being open about how they’re evaluating the balance.

I don’t care that much about the kill quest. I’d rather have those type of quests for Battlegrounds, and would like to see Blizzard focus more on Battlegrounds if they want somewhere for people to PvP more fairly. Battlegrounds are not where they should be, but they could be there more easily than world ganking can.

Per the last Q&A technically yes… but maybe not at those percentages… because the reward current works on a sliding scale with a maximum of 30%.

I guess I don’t find it fun. And having a reason is good for an mmo. Do I have a reason to spam quickplay in Overwatch? No it’s fun.

So if everybody quit Warmode would Blizzard have to change it?

In this case, no. If you don’t want to play in PvP mode because you enjoy PvP, you shouldn’t have it on. Any “reason” they’ve tried to give people to turn it on has resulted in the mess we’re in now.

This is flawed Logic. DId I have any reason to kill the Alliance leaders if it weren’t for the bear mount? No why not have reasons to wpvp?

The hilarious part tho is that horde are not heavily out numbered if anything they are still too numerous as stated by blizzard themselves.

OP stop being a horde cry baby What I told other Horde

Since when did Hordes become the cry babies always thought you guys were the tough ones it appears I was wrong…

You Horde only like it when everything benefits you. When we Alliance get a time to shine you complain and cry. Funny how you Horde act tough but really your just nothing.

Moral of story You Horde just hate it when things dont go your way and you seek to ruin game for us Alliance who have it worse all the time… We have far less good guilds and competent players since they all went Horde…

But no you guys have to have everything dont you ?.. All I see in Horde are a bunch of spoiled little kids.

I just said. The incentives they’ve added are why warmode is such a mess right now. They want it to be balanced, but giving rewards out to make it that way is ruining it.

Blizzards crappy sharding system is how we ended up here
