Boycott ... Warmode?

Who is ‘they’? You say they don’t want people like me, so PvE’ers in Warmode, but the bonus incentives are on PvE Quests. So why should I lose my voice?

If they only want WPvP’ers, then why bother adding bonus incentives to world quests?

I don’t mind getting killed in WPvP.
I don’t mind that Alliance has 1-2 raids at every assault point
I don’t mind on days that Tortollan or Magni quests are up and Alliance has raids at almost every one.
I really don’t mind those things I see it as a challenge.

What I do MIND is that Blizzard is babying the Alliance for being bad at WPVP
I do MIND that when I get a kill I get 10% while the Alliance who zerg me get 30% and a step closer to gear.

Thus

I am boycotting War Mode. I will turn it back on once Blizzard decides to stop babying the Alliance.

I really dislike when people say this or “Well pvp was only an after thought” which may be true but that doesn’t give them an excuse to mistreat a good chunk of the player base either.

I don’t think alliance are bad at pvp…just the majority don’t want to. Horde have way way more people who enjoy pvp’ing and is seen as the pvp faction while the ones on ally were/are out numbered (pre AOO). Alliance aren’t bad, but it was the wrong solution to try and entice more ally to join warmode.

OP, it’s not ally’s fault that Horde was ganking ally at the flightpaths at BfA release, Tortollan quest hubs, and acquiring that first level 370 easy loot when the Arathi Warfront opened up. It’s ally’s turn for rewards right now, and we’ll have our turn again when Azshara rises.

I’m pretty sure you didn’t complain when Uldir opened and it was Horde getting all the benefits of the quest cycle. So the cycle is fine when Horde benefits but it’s a disaster when it gives the Alliance the advantage.

What a bunch of whiny clowns.

I have all 16 of my horde alts sitting in zuldazar with wm on. i never play them, but i want the gear on my alliance toon.

Is this kind of like when they absolutely butchered demon lock in wod and told people they didn’t want people playing demo until they fixed it?

well If that how you feel, Mostly I go warmode if I feel like I want to gank and have fun picking off Farm bots that thinking “Let farm at warmode what could wrong?”

But other then that mostly if that how you feel I Don’t care or mind if that how you go…

Mostly I just don’t care for warmode.

You answered it yourself. I am not not denying there aren’t skilled PvP players on the Alliance…there is. But it is like you said, Horde have more who enjoy PvP and the more you PvP the better you get at it. I know my opinion is subjective, but from my experience the majority of Alliance players are bad at PvP. I honestly believe the Alliance adopting this zerg strategy (not knocking it, it is smart) is to compensate for being bad at PvP.

hahaha, NO.

Explain how would go about accomplishing that ?:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Players suddenly vanishing isn’t something you accomplish. It was said facetiously, in the sense of it’s not something that would likely happen. I feel you read into the comment far more than you should have, either that or you’re just trying to get likes from the reply, judging by the excessively use of emoji’s, I’ll take it that it’s the latter.

Alliance are hilarious. I turned War Mode back on now that the Alliance is no longer getting whining baby gear and 30%.

In the past 2 days I honestly have only seen 4 Alliance in War Mode. 2 outside of shrine and 2 at todays Assault.

Umm where did you guys go? Hello? Alliance? Anyone there? rofl

The funny thing is that horde were part of the reason they added things like AOO and an increase in percent. Cracks me up that coasting like some horde did played a role and you guys are still so salty.

Not sure when this discussion was made. But ally are only getting a 15% buff for the last 2 weeks. Which means no bribe quest. And the bribe quests item has been nerfed.

If there are still ally groups camping its just people griefing. Functionally outside of leveling no one has anything to gain from being flagged at this point. Its not efficient.

People are ergonomical. We have a finite amount of time and energy. Wpvp by itself is not rewarding.

Blizzard has no choice but to put up a worth while bribe. Or the average player will not waste thier time.

We left because we want the higher % and that’s all WM is about - getting the higher reward. It’s no longer about “finding people to kill in open world”, they changed it to “leave WM so we get the highest reward next week”

Wpvp and BG are not real wpvp. Any player plays like a god when you outnumber them. Real pvp is scenarios where the numbers are equal specifically arenas and duels. There’s some cases where you duel in wpvp, but there’s a high chance another player comes out of nowhere.
Horde likes WM because they also zerg attacks, camping, ganking you know dirty tactics, alliance does too but I don’t know how many times, with sharding you can’t tell.

I think that’s what Wpvp is all about, it’s just a mode for pissing off players and doing bullying things, I mean I like it not because I do those things (ganking etc,) because it makes the game more dynamic, more action, more to be aware from environment, and for being always in alert. I always have it on.

That’s what I think. I think botch factions are stupid but still I love and accept their weakness.

Going to respectfully disagree with you. WPvP has ALWAYS been a numbers game. I mean the Alliance with the zerg that they used when getting the big bonuses was successful. Can’t deny that.

Like you said if you want to engage with even numbers PvP then look to arenas. Battlegrounds players tend to treat like raids and think DPS is the all important. It isn’t. Those rankings at the end are about kill shots…not dps…not honor. The TRUE winners of Battle grounds are those who accrue the most honor…not DPS

Those who run around in battlegrounds not trying to accomplish the objectives of the Battleground and instead try to boost their DPS numbers are a real detriment to the rest who are there. I am not saying DPS is not important…IT IS. Using DPS as a tool to achieve Battleground objectives is what we DPS classes should be aiming for.

So if you are looking for PvP that pits each other with the sole purpose of killing one another then yes Areans is what you want to look to. Not to WPvP and not to Battlegrounds.
