Dmt is not worth botting now. The main profit from dmt is selling the world buffs at this time, and when the patch launches for tbc, even that won’t be worth it.
Yes… that’s what I was saying. I can personally vouch that DMT has been specifically neutered, I can’t say the same for other farms. Which is why I was asking.
Considering the GpH vs tbc GpH, it’s not going to be ideal to pickpocket farm brd compared to other farms.
Someone close to me IRL just started botting when the boost came out. They have been going for a week and no bust yet. Around 15k gold generated, which if sold would more than cover the cost of a new account to do the same thing over again.
And here I am playing legit like a sucker
LOL when was the last time you looked at video card prices or availability? The prices are insane and everything has been sold out for months.
i was gonna say the same thing. I’m sure that a portion of them are definitely bots but not everyone makes “proper” names for their character.
and they make 1/3 of what we make. talk more.
Whats your point?
The point is you said someone else was paying less, and I said they make less. My point is your points now invalid.
I think you misunderstood what I said. The botters are paying less by using third world countries to make their accounts. They are exploiting the system to take advantage of the cheaper costs. This has nothing to do with the countries citizens.
Your trying to do some weird virtue signaling, simmer down.
Perhaps I don’t understand something but the whole argument that botters/gold sellers don’t make gold while leveling so therefore buying a Blizz boost is the best way, makes no sense to me. I find it hard to believe people know what they’re talking about if they think botters/gold sellers haven’t been boosting their bot accounts while selling dungeon boosts
Wouldn’t it make more financial sense to setup dungeon boosting, boost a bot account at the same time you’re selling dungeon boosts? I mean wouldn’t any serious botters have this system set up where they have a main account for dungeon boosting at the same time they have other bot accounts running software/scripts. They can have a steady flow of bots coming in and at the same time making a ton of gold in the process.
I’m not saying botters are good or that I like Blizzard boosts. I just don’t understand this point of view, perhaps someone can fill me in. Now if they get rid of these sort of player boosts then I’d get it.
Botters don’t sell dungeon boosts. If they dungeon boost it’s for themselves only, they don’t want other people in their instances. The people you see selling dungeon boosts are hand farmers, these people are direct competition with botters for selling gold. (Botters are mostly NA and China, while hand farmers are south America, and south Asia).
People also are under the assumption botters will pay $15 per sub and $40 per boost. This couldn’t be further from reality, they use VPNs to make accounts in countries where after converting currency, the price is effectively 1/5 the cost it would be in their home country.
I’ve seena. Few bots selling dungeon boosts
Usually ZG, saw one doing it while using fly hacks and wall hacks.
It was always obvious the botters would and it would be profitable. The people who said it wouldn’t happen were always in a deep, stupid denial.
Everything big streamers ranted about that people on the forums wrote off as being “Some streamer, who cares?” is going to be proven correct in the given months. The people who are willing to let this store-bought garbage slide don’t actually care about the game and never have. Blizzard simps and retail andys through and through.
Yes, two things can be true at once.
Unfortunately, people on the internet actively damage that by trying to oversimplify to fit their narrative
Also, yes botters exist and they suck.
That’s most likely not an operation but someone idiot who bought an old botting license. Good way to get an account banned fast. When I say botters, I’m talking about large scale operations, not the average Joe buying old version of bots when they are released to the public after being detected by blizzard.
Why would a botter not sell boosts?
You realize that a lot of legitimate players boosted characters to farm these instances specifically, right?
Boosting is the fastest “solo” way of getting gold.
Gold sellers sell the gold and then get much of it back from selling boosts, to get the gold to sell again.
It’s a cycle and they do do it.
It’s also how a lot of people farm gold for themselves.
Youtube is full of videos teaching paladins, hunters and mages how to farm 100s of gold solo an hr
