"Botters won't use the 58 boost"

“bbbut this other method is more profitable in the long term, so botters using boosts doesnt matter”
What point are you trying to argue in this thread? Why even come into it?

Weird it’s almost like these are two completely sep[arate issues.

I never said that, either.

I said botting is a problem. Period. The boost is still profitable for bots but less so than levelling three separate bots at the same cost. It therefore is incorrect for players to blame the boost for botting because if anything it is (slightly) worse for the bot farmers who are using them.

And what specifically is your point? I mean what are you expecting to gain here?

Do you think if you complain more, Blizzard is going to retroactively remove the boost and delete all the boosted characters?

I mean seriously, other than to hear yourself complain, what is your end goal here?

It’s inflation. Gold is worth less and less the more bots there are farming it. Every coin you own steadily becomes less valuable, you become overall poorer, especially towards the end game mats you really need.

Each of those $60 investments is returning thousands of dollars. It’s amazing how many ignorant nay-sayers don’t understand what a blessing boosts are for botters.

Except they’re not.

Excuses, excuses. Boosts have created a lucrative method of botting for gold farmers. This is just a fact. Another method being more profitable in a longer time frame doesnt change anything. Botters are using boosts, and a lot of them.

The problem isn’t the gold per $ value they could earn. It’s supply vs demand.

Making more gold when they have MILLIONS ready to sell doesn’t make them more money.

That is categorically incorrect. The boost facilitates a pre-existing problem but it actually a less optimal method because it sacrifices long-term dividends for a very brief window of immediate gratification.

Demand for gold has gone up since boosts were made available. Its more expensive. Not that I follow the prices Ive just seen a lot of people complaining.

I’ll give you $60 if you lend me your bank account and password.
Then I’ll clear out ~$6,000 (in a theoretical world where you have this much.)
You’ll laugh and say, “Hahaha, you didn’t actually take any money because I got $60!”

Ignorance incarnate.

FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY NINE DOLLARS IN EIGHT DAYS OF PICKPOCKET BOTTING IN BRD
Compared to NOTHING earned in that same period.
How long do you think a brd pickpocket bot lasts before it gets banned? Not very long.
You are ignoring the reality because you dont want to be wrong. Either a delusional blizzdrone or someone who is using boosts on fresh accounts to bot.

That doesn’t make any sense.

A more comparable argument is me saying “my monthtly WoW sub costs less than your yearly WoW sub because I only pay $20.00”. It’s superficially plausible but quickly comes undone when you crunch the numbers.

Show me a bot that runs for a full year, lmfao.

Which means after 16 days the 3x bots have made $1,407 and the boosted bot has made $938. Thank you.

It doesn’t need a year. As you just established, it only needs a fortnight. Lol

Botters are not investment bankers.

And none of this changes the fact that BOTS ARE USING BOOSTS.

And I’m sure botters know a lot more about the economics of botting than yourself, or myself, so if it werent viable for them they would not be doing it.

Which is precisely why using the boost is a poor business decision.

When did I ever say they weren’t?
