Boosts in TBC Classic A Disgrace

It’s one boost per account, but go ahead and be mad. Keep giving in to the gold farmers bud.

And my attitude? They’ll do whatever they want regardless your whining and ranting. How does this affect your experience? It doesn’t. Like most folks, I’ve got a 60 mage waiting to transfer, so I won’t be getting a free boost. But I don’t give a crap if someone else wants to hop right into outlands. In fact, that bolsters my experience because I’ll have more people to do stuff with from the get go.

And it won’t be just mages and warriors because people will be boosting all classes, skipping the crap leveling of a priest or paladin for example. Or being expected to heal simply because I’m a Druid. The leveling experience will be alive and well with diverse classes and not meta-based for awhile.

I’m going to buy a boost. I’m going to enjoy it. Then I’m going to play rEtAiL on my main retail server MOONGUARD-Alliance. I spend a lot of time in Goldshire. And there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it.

I’m going to buy that boost sooooo hard. I may even make another account just so I can buy another boost. Just saying TBC BOOST makes me so friggin happy… OMG you have no idea.

I’ll probably make a priest, because i HATE leveling priests. It’s so slow. I’ll get to SKIP that with my boost…

I’m going to give Blizz so much of my money on these boosts, that they will for sure add more boosts later. I cant wait.

Remember… There isnt a single thing you can do about it. And I will be happy.

I’m sorry but if you want to have a discussion please do a better job at making an argument. You basically just said you’re a defeatist and Blizzard are going to do w/e they want so why bother saying anything.

Then you went on to pretend that the reason some classes aren’t popular are because they’re expected to heal while leveling. You go on to list warriors as popular when they’re expected to tank while leveling. Basically defeating your own argument before you even started it.

Congrats.

Oh who cares? It doesnt affect you, worry about yourself.

Says the retail character. Just stop, you’re embarrassing yourself and getting angry over a video game.

So buying boosts is ok, but one free boost is bad? I’m confused

Stop crying and pretending. Almost nobody levels normally. Like we used back in Vanilla. 95% of the players are leveling through boosting so why do you care if it will happen in TBC too!!??

Incapable of even making arguments about something so basic anymore so just trying to insult people. Man your life must be complicated.

Gold buying is rampant too yet I don’t see people demanding WoW token be added to the game.

Plenty of MMOs had a boosting issue. Know what they did? They changed it so people couldn’t boost. Because anyone with two brain cells to rub together understands the playerbase will always move towards the path of least resistance even if it isn’t best for the game.

Blizzard instead decided to ignore the problem and then cash in on it.

“Player Growth”
And what of the friends of yours who want to main the 2 new races? Will they have to slog through all of the post L10 content (which will take an hour or two to level up to the start of) , or will you be powerboosting them all with your mage?

Being OK with the instaboost and being OK with DEs and SGs forced to level from L1 is some epic tier hypocrisy.

Which goldsellers are likely drooling about. If it is a token low amount, goldsellers will be doubling their gold. One copy in one game version, one copy in the other.

Nah, it’s not hard to understand simple concepts, which you clearly refuse to do.

Since you’re incapable of understanding simple logic, I’m done here - you’re clearly trolling. Enjoy your day…and the fact that there’s nothing you can do about it so you might as well make WoW a less toxic place and quit.

BEs and SGs have 10 levels of content. Why should players of those races be restricted from the instaboost, and have to do the rest of the quests and content for the 5th time?
Because hypocrisy.

You are several YEARS too late.

Blizzard established (several YEARS ago) a rule with every new expansion that allows a boost to the LOWEST LEVEL of the new expansion.

Hey, TBC Classic is free! You don’t have to pay for the expansion! Isn’t that a change from 2007? Why aren’t you HORRIFIED that players will be able to play TBC without forking over money?

Says the guy that’s constantly attacking me. Take your own advice bud. I don’t remember anything in the ToS saying I had to pretend your arguments weren’t awful and faulty.

You can either be an adult and accept that your arguments had flaws in them and improve them or be a kid and throw a tantrum. You picked being a kid.

Do better. Classic and TBC don’t have an upfront cost because they’re content that was already made. Expansions have an upfront cost to fund and profit off the effort that goes into making entirely new content.

$15 a month for content that has already been made for Blizzard is a good deal for them. Which is why they basically admitted there will be a fresh Classic sometime after Classic TBC launches.

Did you think you were giving Blizzard $50 an expansion just because? Clearly you seem to believe so.

You’d be surprised how many people have more than one account.

sounds more like a mage is sad they will lose out on boosting gold
