doesn’t understand any of the nuances of an argument
“glad I could clear that up for you”
glad you could clear up how much of a dope you are.
You said this.
This was a quote from you.
This example is YOU trying to move the goal post.
You’re giving an example of something that would NEVER happen.
You’re having a debate with a moron. Just interject with an occasional jab and move on.
the ‘defending buying thoridal’ part is what you Did not what I said
I didn’t change the argument.

There is nothing pay-to-win about a boost. The boost is a level 58 boost, that means they are just high enough to enter TBC, a boosted character will not have any advantages in TBC. If anything a boosted character is at a disadvantage not having best in slot or decent raid tier gear going into TBC.
All boosting does is allow a player to boost one and only one character into the TBC content.
Pay-to-win means that I can pay money to get an advantage, what advantage does boosting provide specifically.
Here comes the “the 58 is stronger than a level 1” reply.
A level 58 character DOES have an advantage though. It’s advantage is over the level 1 character that you would normally get if you didn’t PAY.
Generic argument deserves a generic response.
And your point, boosts have been around for years, they have neither created a pay-to-win situation, nor impacted the way people play the game.
This all boils down to elitist attitudes, you believe that because you had to level 1-58 the hard way, every has to.
why do you even play video games if you just want to skip to the end?
Skip to the end huh? What end? 58 is not the end, it is the full TBC content away from the end.
Simple answer, you are getting your panties in a bunch because someone may be able to get a level 58 (insert class here) day one into TBC when you had to level yours the hard way and that ticks you off.
nah it pisses me off that botters, multiboxers, multiple-account-users, and gold farmers will accrue more gold than ever do to this boost. Further inflating the economy of the server, if you thought 350g for a black lotus was bad - then just wait to see the prices of consumables and how much it will cost to craft gear.
Level 1 isn’t TBC content…
If you are paying to win base game when TBC is out you’re doing it wrong. shrug
It’s not profitable for a bot to boost.
They can level to 58 far more cheaply then paying blizzard extra money.
Your rational is that it skips content, so you are basically saying, everyone should play the game the way I feel they should play, if they do not, then you throw inflammatory words like “Pay-to-Win”, “Botters”, and “gold farmers” out to try and add credibility to your argument without any statistics to show that boosting increased the rate at which any of these occur.
Truth is, everyone is free to play this game the way they want to and the way that gets the most enjoyment for them. To try and fit everyone into your idea of the “perfect player” mold is arrogant and narrow-minded.
Excellent point. Some people hear “Boosting” and without research or thought, assume gold-farmers are going to boost. This is not how that industry works. They are not going to pay Blizzard any more than they have to and for them there are far easier ways to go from 1-58.
