Its been over a year & I still find it hilarious that the same people who campaigned for in-game boosting to be stopped were the ones cheering a literal cash shop boost. There is no consistency, no principles, just a-la-carte self-absorbed contradictions.
And OP makes a great point … what are GDKPs if not boosting? Only difference is instead of XP, the buyers get loot instead.

Blizzard really can’t, most GDKP’s are organized via Discord same reason why when they banned boosting communities it did no good, because it was 90% organized on discord
They can ban GDKPs and then people will report you and you will be banned for organizing them.

yea and when people found out you where the one doing it the server would start to blacklist you. People who whine and try to stop other people from playing how they wish quickly find themselves blacklisted

The fact that they’re all using a weak auras script for afk, and exploiting game mechanics, the providers, and buyers, should all be in line for bans from both Boosting services and afk GDKPs.
No one can tell me “this is how the game was intended to be played” or “let me play the way I want” firstly, it’s not creative use of game mechanics, it’s straight up exploiting game mechanics and use of an external script and it’s not playing anything if you’re afk.
With RMT and the overabundance of illegal means gold flooding the servers, causing AH prices for things to be astronomical in comparison to original TBC, and legitimate PvE runs so scarce it completely diminishes all aspects of the game. The trickle down effect even sours 5 mans with tanks and healers selling their services and everything on reserve or for a price. New players or new alts have an extremely hard time legitimately gearing and finding runs and actually playing the game.

I’m a healer. No one should care about my parses. Most of the healers who stack haste to snipe numbers turn out to be pretty bad healers when isolated as well. Its always fun to watch.

If I wanted to have a great healing parse…we’d take less healers…or do what you say and tell some orange parsing dps to stand in some junk the whole time…it was easy enough getting 95s and 97 when people were being lazy and just spam healing randomly…and even those parses…DID NOT MATTER…lol.
