Looking for Help with my broken Warriror since it seems i can not submit a ticket.
I purchased the MoP pre order pack which came with a free character boost, I choose to boost a warrior, everything went fine. I logged in with him and started the boosting quests but during the quest the servers went down and had a forced restart.
Upon coming back I was checking my character stats to see my hit/exper etc etc and noticed that my Mastery was greyed out and when moused over said to see my trainer to learn…
So a long time wow player that i am, i opened my spell book and low and behold it says to see my trainer for Mastery and Plate Specialization, but upon going to the trainer they are not available to train as the game says i have already trained them but i m not getting the benefits from them.
I know im not cause not getting my mastery ability on Arms or block value when in prot.
This is not a UI error, as i re-installed wow and loaded up vanilla with no addons nothing, and with just the base game my warrior still has the same issue with the spell book saying to train and my stats page also saying see trainer and the ability to train is not there.
I paid 130$ and i can’t use part of it?
Please help. if a game master reads this… Please delete my character and just offer me a new reboost i will start over, i don’t care about what i have worked on him so far i am willing to start over just to have a toon that is working that i paid for.
You could try deleting the character then restore it, but you should just submit a ticket and wait for them to do something. They’re not going to do anything for you if you’re here in the forums.
Tried a ticket, a few response with no fix and then the last guy closed the ticket and i can’t submit any more tickets for some reason? they just disappear after i click submit.
The ticket system is a joke.
Can you try for a refund of the boost?
Edit - I just noticed the boost was part of the deluxe edition pack so not like you can get a reimb on just that. Still, when you fill out a ticket about a payment it tends to get higher priority.
I see the Blue suggested deleting the wtf, cache and interface folders. Have you tried that? Also, have you leveled at all? Maybe if you ding a level things will just magically fix themselves.
If nothing works I guess just keep making tickets. You paid for this and it’s broken, and worse yet it’s broken because the server evidently crashed. Is there even a phone number to call anymore? I’m an old fogey and prefer to actually talk to a person. Blizz used to have a call line for their games, but that’s probably long since gone.
like someone mentioned earlier it would be wise to post over in the classic bug report section of the forum’s to make it slightly easier for the blue’s to notice it.
I has a similar issue with my DK and no u cannot refund any digital purchases in WoW. When i asked for one then had no problems responding right away and copy/pasting the section of their policy where they offer no refunds for boosts, transfers, ext. It’s a very indy company indeed when it comes to customer service
I actually had a boost refunded. It was in Retail though, and years ago. GM froze the character I had boosted. Couldn’t access him, but he was still on my character screen, just greyed out.
I also have the same issue, bought the pre pack and used it on a priest and nothing. I’ve been told when MoP comes out when you ding 86 it could possibly fix it. Also filed multiple tickets.
