This is the first time it’s happened in years, although it seems to be happening more for 10.2 than it ever has.

As I’ve said elsewhere, I hope it’s a positive trend. But I notice that they’re only responding to 10.2 issues. This one isn’t one of those, since it predates the 10.2 content drop. That may make a difference.

Boosting this thread.
As of 11:40AM EDT 11/8/23 the issue still persists.

I took a risk, knowing this was broken and paid for a boost for an old main of mine to keep current and to test if proactively this was a fixed issue. (Meaning if toons boosted from a certain date had been fixed but not ones before 10.2 implementation.)

The character still suffers from the same adverse bug/issues as the pre-purchase boost I received. Hoping there is more official word to the playerbase in general as well as official dev word that this is being fixed.

As it stands, I don’t think Blizz should be selling boosts until they address this.

Upon logging in just now at 4:06 PM EDT 11/8/23, the issue seems to be fixed for me. I got the achievements for reaching higher renown ranks than my non-boosted characters had and can purchase items from the vendors.

Updating to say that the issue is not entirely resolved, as it turns out. It’s fixed for items that require 20 or below renown, but the game still doesn’t believe that I have higher tiers unlocked. Went and grinded an extra renown level to see if that updated it, but it has not. Will be posting a new bug report.

Confirming this. Lvl 20 and below I am able to purchase. 21 and up earned rep is locked out

Can confirm, achieved level 21 Renown with Valdrakken, items requiring level 21 renown still locked.

Reached renown 20 with Loamm before this “hotfix”. Still no achievement and no access to items of any rank. The only thing that unlocked for me was 100% rep bonus for alts instead of 200%. So in other words, this hotfix did nothing for me.

This morning I was able to purchase the Rank 22 red scales skin so I think it is fixed. Not looked at anything else though

I looked into it today and everything seems resolved for all other factions except for the Loamm Niffen. I’m renown 19 but still can’t purchase anything past renown 15.
