Trust me man my last job involved cracking the bones for those things and tearing their fat/feathers and gore off… If you could see it before it went in the fryer I think that mindset might just change a bit depending on your threshold for bloody viscera…

Except I don’t eat wings and bone in chicken… and up until then had never worked at a restaurant that fixed it to have to break bones and devein/defeather it… certainly not eating it on the bone now after the fact.
Look at my own ignorance. Here I though they were just tiny thighs.

I’m a card carrying member of the “I hate eating messy food with my hands” club.
I really like ribs, but I eat them with utensils.
Same with wings, bone or no bone I’m using a fork and knife.
Wait? Nuggets are made from ground up entrails?

More just the “trimmings” get ground up and reformed, kinda like what they do with beef to make “pink slime” before adding it back in to ground beef.
Chicken livers are the best form of nuggie. That delicious texture omg.

<----not a man, and I eat chicken period. Wings , nuggets (which CAN be made from actual chicken cuts, especially if you make them at home like I do thankee very much), legs, breasts, thighs, even the livers are good breaded and fried.
Nuggets are the chicken feet, that’s why they are shaped like shoes. Duh!
