Why assume he’s making a mistake? It’s probably just as likely that he’s tired of the game and is using this as an excuse.

I’m not against the customisation per say, and assume that would carry over to Void Elf customisation. But I still think it makes more sense to make a neutral high elf option.
Don’t want to waste an AR on it and a blonde Void Elf will still turn blue. They need a separate high elf with all eye and skin options. Let blood elves be as the are and European. Let Void elves be a bit darker as they are southern European. And let high elves get the blonde and blue eyes, but also the dark skin options and dark eyes. Who knows where they all ended up over the centuries. Some may be south of stranglethorn, dark but genetically high elves.

If it takes a few fumblingly datamined, not that great looking eye colors that may as well be for NPCs, you were leaving anyway.
No you aren’t. I get that you are mad, but tantrums like the one you are throwing don’t make policies change. It’s there to protect companies. You’ll just have to do like many do when they are stuck with something they bought. Make the best of it. It’s better to go find something you do like.

There is absolutely no justifiable reason that High Elves — a race with more connection to the Alliance than the Draenei, Night Elves, and Worgen combined — is absent from the game at this point. It is CONCRETE PROOF of Blizzard’s disdain for the Alliance to the point that they’ll hurt their own game’s established themes and aesthetics to stick it to High Elf fans.
It’s disgusting and sad. Just like Ion.

Slap in the face is such a buzz word combo, I hate to steal it from whoever was popular for using it before…I’m sure it’ll be a real slap in the face when they see me using it constantly.

There’s no joke on me, if you are wanting to act this extreme and be proud of it. It comes off very entitled and childlike.
There’s things I wanted out of this expac that I’m not getting either. But I already know that the world is not gonna cater to my every mood swing.
