And blood elves are high elves, so there really is no lore reason for it to not be an option

The lore reason is because the High Elves left Quel’thelas when all of that went down while the Blood Elves remained and turned all bitter over it. And the High Elves joined the Alliance (what was left of them anyway). That’s the problem.

We have this from WowHead at the very least.
People are going to crazy too quickly - I feel like a lot of these races are getting customizations. Whos to say void elves won’t get light skin and different eye colors? and end up looking more like their original selves?
Maybe they’re learning how to better control the void.

Have you considered, you know, maybe waiting until they reveal Void Elf customization options?
Because we were told at Blizzcon that allied races are not getting any new customization other than the separation of eye color from faces for races that have different eye colors like humans. AR’s are getting nothing. This is about the core races.
All because of the blue eyes? Seriously? You hate the color blue or something?
But that was during BFA. They never said anything about them getting more customization in the future.

No, that was involving Shadowlands. That was said at Blizzcon with the Shadowlands deep dive panel. Core races are the focus. The only thing AR’s might get is the separation of face and eye color.
Plus, let’s be real. Blue eyes for blood elves is the death nail. Void elves are not going to get a light skin tone and make the idea of thalassian elves a neutral race. The high elf crusade is over. Or at least it should be.
Watcher also said forever ago that “blood elves might be getting contacts”. These are those contacts. Blue eyed blood elves are a Horde race.

It comes up for me. But it’s a throwaway toon you notice with only character achievements showing. Let’s see him post on his main then have that toon vanish lol. He’s not deleting his account.
