EVERYONE DRINK!
Woah. How dare you say that about the saviour of Northshire Abbey?!
Thinking about having my bank chargeback 2 year subscriptions, 2 Shadowlands Epic Editions, and a few tokens I used to make it to Brutosaur. Blizzard really screwed it up this time.
lol. Good luck with that
Before you go… what are you doing with your gold? Don’t give it to them!!
Or worse, refusing something that we do have and just wanting it somewhere else.
Sorry you haven’t been a Warcraft fan long enough to care about real faction identity.
True warcraft fans know Anasterian seceded after the second war and had no base willingness to join or stay in the Alliance.
Well what do you expect from a game director who said he’s proud to never have played Alliance.
Wait wait wait did Ion said that?
Geez what the…
Even though you’ve never played the Alliance, shouldn’t have said sth like that as a director.
Wooo i’m about to more dislike Ion
Cya. It’s sad to see people wanting to leave over this, but I totally get it. We’ve been genuinely wanting High Elves as a playable thing for ages now, and it feels like Blizzard just slapped us in the face again.
Blizzard (Slapped You) in your Non Blue Eyes.
Exactly

Yes, “true Warcraft fans” know that Anasterian wanted to leave the Alliance because the Orcs burned his forests and killed his people. Makes me wonder what he thinks of what his people are doing now? Especially since the Orc leader who did all that burning, pillaging, and murdering is the same Orc who the Orcish capitol city is named after: Orgrim Doomhammer.
And “true Warcraft fans” also know that despite the Elves leaving the Alliance after Warcraft 2, some Elves remained on the Alliance. You can see these units in Warcraft 3, as Priests and Sorceresses. And the Warcraft 3 manual even touches heavily on this, talking about how these Elves remained with the Alliance despite their kings withdrawal.
So, in the end, it doesn’t matter what Anasterian did. The High Elves have been on the Alliance for much longer than the Blood Elves have been on the Horde. Because the High Elves that are on Alliance now never left.
Quitting over a couple of tiny clusters of pixels. Okay.
what is the deal with these people and their obsession with Blood elf eyes?
Who the hell cares?
what is the deal with these people and their obsession with Blood elf eyes?
Because it’s considered a slap in the face to give them blue eyes, which lorewise makes them High Elves, when they’ve constantly avoided giving Alliance High Elves as a race. So it’s either “see! Horde bias” or some other thing since Horde get the thing Alliance has been asking for forever, while Ally constantly got excuses as to why they couldn’t/wouldn’t do it.
That said do we even know that they are getting the option for blue eyes? Or is this just rampant jumping to conclusions and throwing a fit over it?
I said it on several ocassions, and I’ll stand by my words. I am officially submitting a ticket to remove World of Warcraft off my bnet account. Was a pleasure smiting monsters alongside some of you, but it’s time to put aside my sword and turn to other avenues.
Safe travels!
OP if it bothers you go play another game. Holding your breath and stamping your feet like a child isn’t going to make them just make High Elves an allied race. They made their stance by making Void Elves awhile ago. Who knows, they might add something in the VE customizations. However, if you are so obsessed by a faction wall that you let it take away from playing a video game then the problem is in between the chair and the keyboard, not Bliz.
Au revoir Shoshannaaaa!

Is gold flammable?

‘Slap in the face’
Lorewise Blood Elves ARE High Elves. lol
