The green eye glow was because of the amount of fel magic being used for various things such as siphoning magic from various sources to make up for not having a source of magic from the Sunwell after Kael’thas chose to destroy it due to the necromantic magic coming from it after Kel’thuzad’s resurrection. The fel corruption came way after when the Legion attacked the isle with Kael’thas’ forces.
And the sunwell was corrupted by fel… was it not? I mean hell it was being used to create a doorway for Kil’jaeden.
I dont know how you can destroy something and there still be a Sunwell. It says Arthas destroyed it… then says it was corrupted, so Kael decided to destory it, but then use its remaining power to bring Kil’jaeden, and then it says "In the aftermath of the battle, the draenei prophet Velen sanctified the legendary Sunwell using the power of the Light. The Sunwell shone once again, now a fount of both arcane and holy light - bringing about the gradual “rebirth of a nation’s soul”.
So it was never “destroyed”. Or did they just scoop up several vials of the Well of Eternity “just in case”? And we all know what happened when the Well of Eternity was destroyed. It cracked the land in 2, the sunwell didnt destroy… anything?
The green eyes came into before the fel came into play in tbc.
I want to thank everyone for their feedback, and it does my heart good to see that everyone but one person who’s reacted to my thread has done so with positivity, and it seems that outside of one extremely vocal person that the people are interested in giving Blood Elf Death Knights this appearance.
That being said, I would encourage nobody else to speak to Kelliste in this thread. They’ve already made their point of view known, and interacting with her further just gives her reason to bring negativity to this thread. Which, I do not want. This is a polite request, no reason to engage in debate with one person.
Kelliste, I kindly request that you find other threads to interact with, as your opinion has been offered, noted and accepted that you feel that way. But continual argument leads nowhere. And bring negativity to what is a polite request to the devs-- which I do not want for a polite request thread.

I too would like to be able to change my eye color as a dk. With red and green options like said above when I unlocked the Dark Ranger customizations I was disapointed that it did not extend to DK’s I wish it had.

Gul’dan has red eyes. And he is no Banshee or elf. There is a trainer in Archeus that has red eyes.
No lore reason, more technical reasons from the dk glow effect. They should have conidered doing DK before Palain and Druid as those make no sense at all.

Can you leave people alone? Must you try to ruin anything and everythi g for others? You dobt want red, dont use it. You have been targeting any DK red eye requests aggressively. I cant wait for red eyes to be added. No one is the same. You dont like it move on and do not use it.
Also, I want to point out that Gul’dan is no Banshee nor an elf.

Have you not been paying attention to what people actually want? They dont just want red. They want green as well and to be spec based. This is just another grasping at straws argument.

Gun dan is neither, already touched on that earlier but you guys dont read a damn thing so i shouldnt expect anything new. Gul’dan is a fel orc and their eyes are red why? Because they drank pitlord blood putting them into a bloodrage as well as turning their skin green.
Death knights arent banshees, they arent darkfallen, they arent fel orcs, they were raised by the LK. They arent alike at all so why should DKs get red? Because you want it? Thats it? Sorry but thats not a good enough reason to break lore.
If you want a toy, glyph, or DK only helms go for it.

Then where are all the red eye dks and how did they get red eyes? Or did they make some art because people go by color to make a quick judgement on what something is instead of reading?
Not mention their own website says KM increases your health based by 1% got every bone shield stack you have.
That talent art means absolutely nothing and is grasping at straws. Ion said Daks have Blue eyes for a reason. Whitemane doesnt have eye glow in game but they glow blue in cinematics.
I dont know why you guys expect lore to be changed for you when there are other means to do it. Helm skins, toys, glyphs are 3 options that dont do anything to lore.
There are literally dk npcs with red eyes. Are you purposefully being obtuse?

Thassarian does have blue eyes, as does Whitemane. Its a game limitation with scars on their face. The same with the orc… see the scars. For some reason those faces dont have the blue glow.
Lady Alistra has already been addressed. Follow the course of the discussion and I wouldnt have to repeat myself. Those people were talked about YEARS ago by now and how its a game limitation and that you guys dont actually know what Lady Alistra is. Im pointing to a banshee because everything about a banshee can be applied to Lady Alistra. Both being adept at unholy magics, both have red eyes (banshees get red eyes when they get their bodies back), both were/are part of the scourge. Everything points to her being a banshee. Not a darkfallen, not a dark ranger or anything else, a banshee.
And dont listen to Vedist, hes just a liar, never listened and just goes around smearing people he doesnt like. Look at all the posts in here, and people want to talk about me being negative. If you guys want this negative bs to stop, start reporting those people. Nothing he has said has ANYTHING to do with this topic except one post.

You are a petty and selfish person, no doubt. If you dont want to use red, then dont. You come in every thread crying about other people having opinions or ideas that are not aligned with your own and you simply nag on anything you can. If you want blue, use blue. If we want red, then we can use red. You could just worry about yourself and leave other people to their desires without being a negative person all the time. There is a clear reason the community dreads your presence on all threads, you are as toxic as they come. Trying being open minded, rather than telling others that you dislike their idea. Just move along if you cant handle people wanting something that you do not have to use.

If trolling is just something that you dont like then you all are trolling with these posts.
If you want helms, glyphs or toys to change eye colors then ask for that. But you guys wont do it because you dont like other people having a better idea than you. You rather stick to your original argument of changing lore than to add cosmetics in the systems that are for cosmetics.
