Love this, also would love to see blood elf druids
I’m still hoping for the runic tattoos we saw with the cover when Blood Elves were introduced
They should’ve been added right at the beginning.
I’m all for new stuff for my blood elf characters, sounds great.
Blizzard tried and failed twice to bring Quel’Thalas over to the Easter Kingdom map. First time back in Cata when they originally updated the world, and then once again in BFA. The Silvermoon Warfront was likely scrapped solely because it would have been too big of an effort to update the map.
It might seem like a simple thing to do, but the geography doesn’t match up at all. Blizzard would have to redesign nearly all of Lordaeron from scratch. Tirisfal, Wester/Eastern Plaguelands, Hinterlands, Alterac, Hillsbrad, and Arathi Highlands would all need a minor or total redesign from scratch. Because the northern zones are far above the sea level. While Quel’Thalas is at sea level. And some areas in the Ghostlands overlaps with areas in the Easter Plaguelands. Like Deatholme and Stratholme occupy the same physical space.
Where’s the link for Mechagnomes & customizations?
The Silvermoon warfront, or even if there ever was going to be one, being scrapped because they couldn’t update the zone unfortunately doesn’t have any real evidence to support it. You’re likely referencing that list that showed random mentions of possible warfronts, which included Mulgore and even Bilgewater. They later said it was just ideas of early BfA alpha that they considered at one point.
As for adding it in, there was the ability (some even said since legion) of being able to bypass the portal to fly in the Ghostlands that then got scrapped. Honestly not sure what that was about.
That being all said, I personally don’t have an issue if the zone was still only accessible by portal or otherwise, as long as it was updated. If they can’t attach it, then at least update everything there with the material from Suramar but edited. If Silvermoon had flight, I’m almost certain it would become more used (heck I would use it more for sure).
Interesting! Personally, my personal gripes for the Blood Elves (and Void Elves) is that well… both their female model limbs look like twigs.
But more customization is always fine. Probably a win for male models.
There is no such thing.
Doesn’t exist. Gone. Ignored.
i approve of this thread 111%
I do hope you guys get something soon.
Male Belves barely got anything in the customization pass. It was pretty sad. We at least got some hairstyles and gaudy jewelry, lol.
I think both male and female got barely much. In all honestly, and in my own opinion, I think it was people fighting over High Elves that ruined to having both Void and Blood receiving little. Though this is my own opinion, but that is what I think happened.
I just hope we can see more for Blood Elves, since this is the Blood Elf thread, and Blizzard doesn’t abandoned anymore customizations in the future.
Yeah and I want to say, I’m not against Void Elves having the appearances overall. It just felt like when they got that they then wanted more. And people made troll posts about taking back Silvermoon. So that whole situation was toxic.
Which is why despite liking restrictions being lifted on a lot of things, I still don’t want shared hairstyles and more given. Because it just feels like it’ll end up being something else in the future.
Whatever Belves get that ends up unique then Helfers will want that too.
I agree. Don’t get me wrong, I still would like to see more for the Void Elves in terms of both High Elf and Void Elf aesthetic, but I just want them to be unique, and not copy-paste.
And no, I do not want the Void Elves to take Silvermoon, or Silvermoon to be an Alliance city. But if Blizzard is working towards removing a lot of faction restrictions away, I would like to see every capital city become neutral. As well as Quel’thalas being updated so we can have it fully connected with the rest of the world, and able to fly in Quel’thalas.
Part of the reason why I want san’layn and fel blood is because they would bring a strong theme and identity to the belves.
Also there is the fact that I think they are super cool.
In addition to it setting a precedent to share everything going forward, it would also be lazy and allow blizzard to act like they added new stuff to both races. It’s not new stuff. I’d rather get some awesome farstrider themed braids for my belves, and have velves get their own styles too.
I’m there, except the neutral cities. Especially since a lot of the racial related cities have race exclusive quests. I’m all for there being some neutral cities but they should be neutral from the start.
I’m still mad those didn’t make it live
I feel like this would be a huge blow to the game. Blizzard said that the factions are staying, and I personally think allowing players to do neutral quests together, dungeons/pvp/raids together are good. But keep faction-specific questlines and cities for the factions. There’s already plenty faction neutral cities in the game for cross faction purposes, and let’s be real most of the time the new expansion capitals are neutral.
Doing this would keep the faction flavor in the game but also not force players to play a specific faction to be able to play with friends, but rather pick your fav faction. And it seems this is the way blizz is heading.
