The literal only player race to use Blood Magic and they only thing they show about it is Golems.

Going to more or less post this same post in all of my customization threads with some small changes for each race.
With the New Year beginning and our hopes for what that year will bring I’d like to just reaffirm that I will continue to update and work on this thread so that Blizzard has an easily viewable list, with pictures, for what players want to see for Blood Elves, as well as a place for players to gather and talk about what they’d like to see for Blood Elves.
A lot can happen in a year and we never know when or if Blizzard will add the things we request but if we do nothing to talk about it they’ll never know what we want or how we want it. Communication is important and while the Forums are often thought of as a place where Blizzard won’t listen or care, I’ve seen that thats not the case. We should continue with all effort make sure that Blizzard cannot forget that we’re here and asking for things, reasonable things, to be added to our favorite races.
So I’ll be here and I hope all those who support Blood Elven options will be as well!

Saw this image in another thread from Naz’mir.
It only shows up for the Alliance, if I remember correctly, but it shows that the Blood Elves are indeed continuing to use Blood Magic learned from Pandaria and use it to empower their Golems. I can only imagine what else its being used for among the Blood Elves.
Some way to represent this, with say red eyes or blood tattoos, would be really cool and nice to have.
The Dark Animus is a thing that needs more exploration for its meaning with the Blood Elves. Hope to see some of that in the upcoming expansions.

Why does this make me think of Mountain Dew?
Would rather Rune Tattoos and regular Scarring myself.
Though a group going full Fel in Midnight to fight the Void would be interesting. Bring back that BC feel a bit.

I think its one of the best options for expanding Blood Elves into an area that might be along the same lines as the Man’ari.
The Felblood would be a wonderful addition.

Also longer hair choices for Blood Elves.

I really want more braid options especially long braids. Also, we need options for customizing the accessories (ties, wraps…) that hold everything together.

Blood Elves
Blood Elves have not gotten a lot of new options that are unique to them. Most new options where shared with Void Elves. Leaving Blood Elves, especially the males, lacking in many distinct and meaningful options.
The jewelry is limited, their hair is very outdated by today’s game standards, and they have not gotten scars despite having almost be wiped out by the scourge, and the Runic Tattoos that are on the TBC box art have been a request since Blood Elves addition to the game.
Blood Elf Suggestions
Subrace Options
- Additional Dark Ranger Options. (Dark Ranger Eye Makeup, Darker Undead Skins)
- San’layn Themed Options. (Fangs, Batlike Ears, Claws, ect.)
- Felblood Elf Themed Options. (Fel Tainted Skin and Potentially Horns/Claws.)
Markings/Scars
- Rune Tattoos like the Burning Crusade Box Art and Magister Rommath.
- Phoenix Tattoos like the Farstrider Hanzo Skin for HotS.
- Scars/Burns and Damaged Ears.
- Makeup/Warpaint Options. Including Dark Ranger inspired designs.
Jewelry Improvements/Fixes
- Allow males to use Jewelry.
- More Metal and Gem colors for Jewelry. (Including Darker and more ‘Goth’ options.)
- More Jewelry Types. (Chokers, Metal Feathers/Feathers and Eye/Nose/Lip Piercings, Etc.)
- Fix the bracelets so they aren’t pixelated.
Hair
- Separate the Tiaras/Headbands from specific hairstyles.
- Add Large and Fancy Hair/Beard/Mustache Styles.
- More Gothic/Grunge hairstyles.
- Eyebrow Size options.

On the hearthstone tavern pass there is a Fel Blood Elf that has reinvigorated my desire to see Fel Blood customization.
Maybe as time passes they can actually figure out decent raven wings.
