Blonde/brown hair for Void elves?

It would help if you pretended that it was part of a larger “liberation from height restrictions” to cover your tracks.

Alright. I’ll list the precedents.

Void Elves with normal hair:

  • Alleria Windrunner

Gnome Sized Blood Elves:

  • . . .

Precedent exists for normal-haired, void-infused Thalassian elves. That’s why people have a leg to stand on when asking for it.
(There is not, however, precedent for Void Elf “paladins”, which is not a notion I’ll stand up for.)

You could argue the High Elf Wayfarers and Silvermoon Scholars are other examples. What makes a Void Elf has never been particularly clear to begin with; is it a void-wielding High/Blood Elf like Alleria? Or an elf transformed by a incomplete ritual like Umbric and his followers? Seems it’s any High/Blood Elf using the void since the Devs remain adamant Alleria is a Void Elf.

Wow, that is sad.

Did you know theres discord servers for several requested allied races?

You’re right it’s all pretty messed up lore-wise. They should give you guys a modified model of a wretched blood elf only void themed instead. Then alliance can know what horde felt when they got nightborne.

That is funny. But we have been asking for this for a long time.

Oh we knew when we got Void Elves, trust me. We knew. I don’t see anyone saying Nightborne don’t need anything less than a major overhaul, on either side of the aisle. Both sides wanted a specific race. Both sides, ‘sorta,’ got it and it wasn’t acceptable.

I really hope Nightborne get a major overhaul. Like, add a posture option so they can look more like their NPCs. Maybe a toggle to add Dusk Lilies to their hair!

Yeah and that they add some distinction between the blood elves and void elves instead of lessening the distinction.

Dark Ranger options for Blood Elves would be fantastic. Along with natural hair colors and cleaner hairstyles for Void Elves. Especially longer cleaner hairstyles for Void Elf men.

That’s less distinction though not more lol. Come on. I think giving blood elves the option to be like sylvanas with red eyes would be cool though. It wouldn’t make any sense, but neither do void elves in most ways.

No. Just no.
Give it a rest already.

Sure its more distinction. There are no Dark Rangers among High Elves or Void Elves, while the Horde did ally with San’layn during BFA.

I don’t think holding hostage the High Elf aesthetic from the Alliance at this point is reasonable. Blizzard outright told us the skin tones and eye colors were to make it easier for players to represent being a High Elf.

More customization is always better, not worse. I don’t remember any Blood Elf players upset over getting purple eyes, which had been Void Elf exclusive for a bit. I don’t even remember Void Elf or High Elf players upset about it.

Can’t really argue with greed and entitlement.

And here is the key point.

They are cross faction.

That doesn’t make a difference… if a Human decided to join the Horde their skin won’t become green or something like that… being cross-faction has nothing to do with appearance.

You really can’t, can you? A group of players that don’t even play void elves want to prevent another group that actually do from having access to more customization options.

Unfoundedly greedy, entitled, and delusional.

Sure it does.

In your previous examples making one race like another is ok. Because its the same faction.

Which won’t happen.

It doesn’t in lore. In gameplay it 100% has everything to do with appearance.

yes, how dare people ask for something, we should be thankful all mighty blizzard gave us filthy peasants anything right?
