So is it everyone else who is lying or is it you? Go look at the last few xpacs that had significant solo progression and see if any of them gave “the best gear”.
Perfect quote from that article:
“If you just don’t like PVP, or raids, or Mythic+ no amount of in-game pressure will make them fun for you.”
Diablo is that way

They came close with 3.3.
This is interesting to me as the thing I like about grouping is the people I’m with, so it’s generally a good thing to be able to team up more.
I also don’t really think of solo content as something that can be grouped for anyway, so there’s that.
They made it a focus of the game for casual. really Ion STOP TALKING THIS WOEFUL XPAC UP.
Whatever you say man. Hope you get some help
Sweetheart I’m all women and you now are someone I wish not to speak too. Ignorant you’re.
Removing all the mechanics so you can solo a current raid for actual useful loot… Just ask for it to be mailed to you for logging in at that point.
If they’re easy enough to be soloed there’s not much point. Holy priest face tanking all 3 dance bosses and keeping interrupts up? Have fun.
many boss mechanics involve other players so certain fights would be super broken.
Well, I assume transmog farming and challenging yourself are two different things. Don’t get me wrong, I get that many would like that as a way to challenge themselves, but you can clearly see that legacy content farming has nothing to do with being a challenge considering the countless “Fix Legion” threads. I don’t think it would be as popular as you imagine, as many of the solo oriented players don’t really seem to look for a challenge.
thats not even a challenge. its just blatantly unfair. the mechanics clearly arent designed for solo play so the only solution is to brute force it.
The mechanics don’t allow it. It only works in legacy content because your 1-2 shotting everything. In exchange, the loot is effectively cosmetic or vendor trash.
Needs two tanks, interrupts, multiple people doing something can’t just be tuned down in power because you have to make them not apply at all.
yes, you do care what people have to say or you wouldn’t have made your post. You just don’t like what I have to say because it rubs you the wrong way which makes me happy.
I don’t have to be on the design team to know what Blizzard is trying to create any more than I need to know how to build a clock to know how to tell time.
Clearly, you are clueless to even the most obvious facts about this game.
Like I said many times, catering to twits like yourself has lead to the ruination of this game. Go play on your Xbox and leave this game to people who can get along.
Someone banned me for a day using similar logic to this.
Oh well, I’ll take my lumps for saying the truth.
I got under the skin of a whining poster and I feel good about it. Call me crazy.
'Tis very easy to get under people’s skin when you shill for bad game design, AKA no #SoloQueue .
Devs are trying to move the game back to “RPG elements” from “the roots of wow”, ie that predated wow, that people moved to wow to get away from. Wow has always been the game that anyone could play at anytime, whether or not their entire middle school class - you know, you were supposed to bring them along like back in vanilla - was online to play or not. They would like to turn wow into a game where no one can do anything without having the right level and number of “friends” online. This will help devs make progress on their goal of minimizing participation and restricting it to a small number of players with the best connections, the same ones who will be selling you carries.
I know the game has problems, that is why I play mostly Classic these days.
A dedicated solo questing line that is a be-all-end-all to playing is not the answer.
They might as well make WoW for PS5 where everything in is a NPC except for you.
Asking the game designers to now fashion a solo play style that reaps the same reward satisfaction as current endgame group contents will lead to the demise of retail as it is.
There is plenty to do in this game if one wants to forego group contents, but Blizz has enough on its hands already trying to keep the contents interesting without now having to divert resources to creating contents specifically for players who want to play on an MMO but they want to go it alone which is illogical in itself.
