Dude, not defending Blizzard at all.
EVERY MMO has been losing subs because the genre is dying.
It isn’t something specific to WoW lol
Clearly WoW lost a massive amount of subs because all mmos do, nothing to do with how terrible the expansion has been : )

WoW has been on a decline sub wise since WOTLK, long before Bfa. Bfa isn’t helping things, but it’s not something that’s running counter to the trend in the industry.
Again, pretending like the major death of MMOrpgs is the main cause of BfA’s failure is a weak defense.
Mmos have lost their popularity, but there are still a ton of players playing them, many of those have abandoned blizzard since the pruning started and BfA solidified that.
A bad game causes people to unsub, not just a genre that is smaller now. Swtor has a huge amount of threads, players in reddit and even general chat saying how they moved from wow because it was trash, people are moving from bad mmorpgs to better ones

Look I’ve been as critical of Blizzard as anyone lately, but this is utter nonsense. Swtor is not an MMO and hasn’t been one since Shadow of the Revan Impersonator. The engine is a dumpster fire kept going by the three brave devs they have left on staff. Endgame is nonexistent. I get higher FPS in a 40x40 brawl in Ashran than I ever did sitting alone in my Dromund Kaas apartment. Ever try 16man raiding? Impossible.
HEY DID THEY EVER MANAGE TO FINISH THAT ONE RAID THAT THEY WERE RELEASING ONE BOSS AT A TIME OVER A PERIOD OF YEARS?
The class stories are worth playing, but that’s single-player content. The ONLY thing swtor has over WoW at this point is that they never pruned their classes, because THEY DON’T HAVE ANY DEVS TO DO IT.

No, they are moving from bad mmos to any mmo.
It’s why there are refugees from WoW in GW2, ESO, FFXIV, SWTOR, etc.
Nobody is denying the loss of subs in WoW, but it’s more complicated than BFA bad lol

Ok I’m just responding to this part as I just started SWToR yesterday and man it looks so cool, got some freebie armor and everything and it looks awesome and I’m lvl 1!
I’ll be putting some more time into it for sure! 
I mean, WoD had a huge sub loss as well (a big reason they even stopped showing sub numbers) and many of those players simply didn’t return.
Yeah it’s a really amazing game at level one.

It is a way better mmo when it comes to pvp, class design and depth and gearing system, but hey, keep worshiping blizzard xD
Game is definitely great, and considering it has years of story and content for new players to go through you have a ton of stuff to do, plus the endgame is really fun as well since gearing is pretty easy without huge grinds, there’s a vendor for that vast majority of stuff and you get currency for it from almost everything, and pvp is very fun

Just because I’m not on the anti-blizzard hype train doesn’t mean I worship Blizzard lol.
SWTOR has long been known to have crap pvp and an empty mmo world.
It’s always been a fantastic sp game and nothing more. (Have played it since launch myself, was better back then than now, way more people)

Funny, most worlds have a ton of people these days and im not even talking about starting planets with a ton of instances.
But hey, If you dont like skill based combat with multiple cooldowns and utility to take advantage of and prefer gear based combat like WoW, go ahead, Swtor will still have the superior pvp factually since WoW pvp has been trash for sometime now due to the pruning

WoW has actual pvp leagues with sponsors, SWTOR has half-assed, unbalanced pvp lol.
As for combat, not much better than WoWs tbh
I mean, yeah, that’s what happens when you merge everyone onto five servers for the whole planet.
Trash pvp that blizzard throws money to try make it look competitive, im talking about actually fun casual pvp that players play, aka random bgs which are trash, while swtor casual pvp is fun and far more complex
Everything you said about fun is subjective as in, you like it, but not everyone else.
Doesn’t make it better factually, just better for you.
