Actually the one thing this will do is make it painfully more obvious that the ilevel upgrade you got, when it actually does drop, is worse because the secondaries are trash compared to your spec. This hasn’t been fixed in 2 expansions and with even less loot dropping it slows down upgrades even more.
if they give currency then they cant sell runs as easily…pvp ladder 2… the whole loot system is based off of the top players being able to sell loot. thats why they locked conquest gear upgrades behind rank. theres no skill involved… if it was skill based they wouldnt give higher ilevel gear to higher rank bc clearly the higher rank people have more skill theoreticly . blizzard is clearly conding this behavior they design the loot system. the haves and have nots.
In 2 expansions? Dude it’s never been fixed lol.
Though I think they reduced loot too much, 1 item from raid per 5 people would have been perfect, so 4 for 20 instead of 5 or 6 for 20.
Used to get like 5 items for 25 man before all this TF nonsense, don’t know why they didn’t go back to that.
I think part of the reasoning behind it is because you can specifically craft a few pieces with the stats you want. So they have to drag out gearing even more to keep people playing as a result.
Imagine using ad hominem attacks to discredit my point, I just have a different view than you that’s all. I just want to work hard for my gear, not have it handed to me like what the rest of the people are suggesting.
Actually, it’s probably the great vault.
I’d honestly turn the great vault in for more drops from content, where gear should come from in an mmorpg.
It’s cool they did that with the vault, and sucks they made it harder to get gear as a result if true. I think they went a tad overboard with the gear acquisition limitations and after the world first race is over should perhaps turn it up a bit.
35 PRIEST… NO GUILD what website do you sell gold and runs for lol
That’s what they are saying, but for me, WQ ilvls haven’t changed much, if at all.
You have done 3 dungeons… You have 3 pieces of loot thats a higher ilvl than what those 3 dungeons drop(Neck, back and legs) and 2 dungeon drops.
Where is all this loot you aren’t getting?
ive done 20+ runs and gotten 3 peices so yeah …
You misunderstand.
I’ve done three dungeons because I know dungeon drops are garbage.
I’m gearing through world quests and campaign quests, because in those cases whether or not I’m rewarded for my time is not decided by a dice roll.
I see the quest that drops the gear I want. I do that quest. I get that gear.
My effort equals reward.
The argument I am making is that all content should be like that. You shouldn’t put time and energy into killing a boss and get nothing to show for it.
So you want full bis in 3 dungeons? got it.
The game has always been like this, even before the loot changes.
So what you want… is for each dungeon boss to drop 5 pieces of loot, 1 per person…
Another classic player troll post
Please quote where I said I want BIS anything?
Because as far as I remember the only time I’ve even typed those letters is when it was telling you to shut up about them because that’s not my argument at all.
Then the game has always been wrong.
Why is this such a hard concept? Just because it sucked in the past doesn’t mean it should always suck.
Not necessarily. But in a three-four boss dungeon, every member of a 5-man team should at least walk out with at least one drop each.
I’ve only seen you here to support unpopular game changes and tell people the game isn’t supposed to be fun, engaging and rewarding. I guess if that’s your opinion, maybe it is. Maybe it’s not.
Or they should walk out with 3-4 pieces, 1 drop per boss, like how normal and heroic is… right now. Even regular mythic drops 1 piece per kill.
Final bosses of the dungeons even drop 2 pieces.
Of course they are trolling, Classic is all but over after Naxx so they feel the need to impose their ideology on retail players and try to get us to believe that Classic was some kind of second coming for the MMO market, and that it was perfect and should form the basis of a game that has evolved for 16 years, but no, let’s revert back to 2004.
Some of us just like working towards our gear, not just handed to us.
