It would absolutely improve. Like I said before there are many aspects to why arena participation is low. But dual respec cost is definitely a large factor

By how much? Enough to justify the significant alteration to the design principles of the expansion? Have the figures on that? Sounding to me like a “it will fix tank/healer shortages” argument.

It won’t fix the tank healer shortage, it will lessen it quite a bit though. Same as arena.

Changes can have positive effect without resolving an issue entirely.

Dual spec really wouldn’t change the feel of tbc that much, it would just let people swap spec for short periods of time instead of only when they have a clear schedule off raid times

Oh man they get to have a raiding spec AND a pvp spec? Pack it up guys the game is ruined. Retail tourists killed the game its Shadowlands all over again.

I don’t think they should be disfiguring the expansion in pursuit of incremental improvements.

The middle ground is wait. Pretty soon with daily quest hubs gold becomes a literal non-issue. Everybody wins.

Yes, because Wrath was on the way and they wanted it to be ready for the pre patch.
The pre patch was 4 months away at that time.
