Blizzard literally performed a hot fix based on Biceps information. How much more proof do you need before you realize you are living in a clown world and have no idea what you ramble on about. Methamphetamine is a hell of a drug.

And? Never said that was in contention. Just said even WITH that nerf, it was about even on the PTR along with some other stuff going on like RI stacks dropping and the best case scenario for 2h, it was about even to DW ST in practice not on Sims.
With the bug fix which happened who knows when, and the change to the set that was either another undocumented change or bug fix (dont actually know how the set is supposed to work because Blizzard doesnt actually disclose how the set is supposed to work) DW gained a lot of DPS, 2h gained some too, but it can fall pretty hard depending entirely on RNG. Again in practice and not according to sims.
You know, that thing that you guys said I needed to do was go use it and now that im using something and testing it, I should now listen to sims.

KM proccing off itself during Pillar is most definitely a bug.
I’d be happy to take a look at some of your logs to see the difference.

How do you know its definitely or most definitely a bug? Inside sources at Blizzard, or making assumptions because an assumption could be made that this was kind of a bug fix phase which a lot of Blood tier set bugs were fixed, other tier sets were fixed as well, so people could assume that this is how the Frost set is supposed to work.
Unless Blizzard said “this isnt how the set is supposed to work” im going to assume that its working as intended after a bug fix pass.
2h does swing wildly from pull to pull though. Ive had as high as 8.6k, and as low as 6.9k. Not changing anything, the burst is relatively even across the board, its between PoF windows and the drop of RI, and the lack of KM procs that is a hit or miss. DW however is much more consistent, again im not changing anything from pull to pull.
The thing about DW, and if this is how the tier set is supposed to work, after your initial PoF, youll always go into a new PoF with full stacks and many times with an extra KM Obliterate to be used to get things going again. That is of course ignoring target swaps and things like that which the set doesnt handle well. 2h just drops RI stacks much too frequently to where the average Obliterate between DW and 2h are only about 800-1200 damage off. Of course 2h top end is higher, but only about 15% higher, the average Obliterate is about the same. Top end for 2h was about 20.2k and the top end for DW was about 17.5k ish if I remember correctly. Thats only 15% which is what we see now. Running FC and the chance at 5% primary enchant for DW, FC for 2h.
2h just does not feel good to play especially when you are sitting there waiting for a KM proc watching your RI stacks tick down to 0. You cant do anything about it but prey to the RNG gods. Youll still be using Obliterates during that downtime, which that 15% damage increase isnt really doing much for you aside from Howling Blast, Frost Strike, and Frost Fever ticks. Then when you do get a KM proc, and starting to stack things all over again your Obliterates arent at max strength. You just hope you dont lose stacks until close to when your PoF is coming back up. If it happens right after PoF ends it puts the brakes on everything.
This carries over from player to player to player. It feels awful. If you have used it, id like to hear that and not what the sims say.
Its open for all to go use. Tier set, any legendary you want, free enchants, free flasks, free potions, there is no reason not to get on the PTR and use it. Its actually quite fun to use right now.
I guess you’ll just have to trust me on the bug part, they wouldn’t suddenly go and make the tier set extremely more powerful suddenly.
Agree that it feels bad that RI drops for 2H. I do think you cannot compare the single ability damage etc to gauge the difference between the two specs. Sure it’s where 2H will make up for its damage, but it’s a bit more complicated than that.
I haven’t had a look at the variance between the two builds. It does make sense that 2H would see more swings but I don’t think it’s vastly different, will have to take a look at what the logs say.
Mind logging your next session at the dummies so I can take a look? I know that a lot of people haven’t played Obliteration much so just want to make sure everything looks in order.

What I would like is legendary used, stats, any haste points to aim for, conduits. Ill try to get as close as I can with what I have readily available on the PTR.
More people need to get on the PTR though. I dont want to be doing something completely different than the sims. Ill try to apply the sims to gameplay. I have limited stuff is all and cant go for BiS. I can say that the quicker things die, the worse the tier set feels and the lower damage you will have. Its for prolonged fights with high uptime, no matter the weapon.
Ill get on the PTR later today. Its raining out so ill have time.
Yeh Ok you can stop right there. It did have DW back in WoTLK and the same as Blood had it.

And yet Kelliste completely missed this and the fact that yes, biceps was right and his math and evaluations are on point. Reading through all the comments it seems that Kelliste has a chip on their shoulder towards biceps and about the fact Kelliste was NOT right and made a itself look like a total unit. Now it directs its anger at everyone else for its own misgivings

Just because you could DW doesnt mean you should use it. Blood and Unholy DW outside of any bugs were garbage. They werent even DW specs realistically and were just 1h specs with a second runeforge, losing a lot of damage (or threat as a tank) and your offhand were just auto attacks and served absolutely no purpose in the spec.
There was 1 hybrid spec that didnt have many weapon strikes so it went DW for extra damage for spells, other than that however Blood was 2h, Unholy was 2h, Frost was DW.
Also since you are a pretty poor reader, I never said that the KM proc rate wasnt changed from its levels in BFA. I said it didnt matter because it didnt this entire expansion, and when I was saying he was wrong, it was talking about what that actually meant, and using the spec in the PTR, 2h WAS NOT AND IS NOT 8% ahead of DW. If anything out of all my testing its on par, or falls hard on its face. Obliterates average damage was about the same between the weapons despite 2h gaining a huge % in Obliterate damage, thats caused by the lack of KM procs and RI falling off.
2h is a hit or miss spec or to fill a very specific niche, things that need to die now. Its burst is better, but thats about it. If you need consistent damage even with Obliteration DW is your go to. The only thing 2h did to the spec was force the spec to get a 3rd weapon for those niche scenarios that crop up for the people that want to play the spec and not a specific weapon.
The devs dont look at these forums, just some community mods. The information was most likely seen in the PTR forums, you know that place where you can go and test things and not take peoples word on how something is doing, find bugs, help out do anything productive than to complain and talk trash about a player on the forums.
Just because you have access to forums doesn’t mean you should EVER use them. You my friend have been nothing but a time waster for years now always screaming the loudest for attention and even when you have been wrong you never shut up or admit fault but are quick to pursue the crucifixion of others.
And FYI back when it was viable, I was a DW blood tank that was literally un killable and could solo tank most H ICC bosses. Even in PvP I had a lot of fun. Maybe you really need to rethink the people you talk garbage to. Just a thought.

And no, DW Blood tanking wasnt viable unless you were just doing the Icy Touch spam in ICC when they changed its threat modifier while in Frost Presence that was brought about by the 30% dodge reduction in ICC so Rune Strike couldnt be used as much.
DW had nothing to do with if you were unkillable or not, if you reached certain thresholds with gear that almost happened passively. Defense rating so you couldnt be crit anymore, hit and expertise so you could actually generate threat which with DW blood you werent going to do that very well because everything used only your main hand to calculate damage because no ToT was available to either Blood or Unholy which allowed both weapons to hit with weapon strikes and deep in the frost tree, then you had dodge and parry.
Wrath was a game of threat when it came to tanking. And congrats, you could solo tank bosses that many death knights could solo tank. What do you want? A cookie? I would give your raid a cookie first because they had to do a lot of work to not pull threat.
