I hope they do something similar for Latin American versions of the game. We find that kind of thing distasteful in here in latin america. If blizzard really is ‘global’ then they should start there.

And what’s wrong with a company saying that they recognized that a group of people should have basic rights? Again, it’s not political until someone who doesn’t like that group of people gets mad that a big company is taking their side. People only get heated because they’re a bigot, plain and simple.
I will straight up admit that I’m not comfortable around trans people (and sometimes gay dudes) but I recognize that as my issue and my problem and not theirs. They have the basic right to exist in the same space as I and you do and not feel like they shouldn’t.

I feel that they have included them properly. They made the characters first, THEN added specific details about them. Said details shouldn’t be an issue. Blizzard just felt the need to clarify with this one.
Guess they wanted to attempt to nip that drama in the bud, though I’m guessing drama will ensue regardless and they probably knew that.
BLM supporting things like the dissolution of the family unit, disbanding law enforcement, reparations, and insisting that Michael Brown wasn’t a violent criminal are plenty reason to spit in that group’s face.

Just kidding. Actually I have no opinion one way or another on this. I stopped caring about other people’s sexuality and gender (and race, and religion, etc.) literally twenty-five years ago when I got over being an angsty youth suffering the transformation into a young adult.
(To clarify, even when I did care, I wasn’t prejudiced or bigoted against anyone; I simply thought these things were of some consequence in the grand scheme of things. As you get older, you find out that notion is quite ridiculous.)
I treat humans as humans. Nothing beyond that matters.
I don’t think the rest of the world will catch up during my life time, but oh well.
C’est la vie.
