right, so… the bladewind attacked the draenei cause they were desperate and decieved by gul’dan after he weakened the elements.
i’m not gonna make excuses for what the orcs did to the draenei, but i would’nt call them misogynists. i’d call them (back then) slavers. plus i don’t see anything about only the male orcs using the draenei so… i’m gonna stick with the logic that it was both genders using them, meaning it was gender-equality-slavery (also, was. i’m 90% certain that’s not the case anymore, even though some players want to pretend otherwise).
Chronicles and even more so Chronicles II is so full of inconsistencies and retcons that I would bet not even 5% of the player base know any of it or would even care too.
That’s why sports like NFL and NBA’s ratings are in the gutters because all they talk about is politics. We are seeing it in games movies and sports. All we want is to escape reality for few hours and just wanted to be entertained. But we can’t have that anymore, so mostly everyone is speaking with their wallet and quit. Will blizzard get the message? Probably not. Just like Disney, it’s small price to pay to them.

I read a article the other day (yes I can read) about gamers nowadays, it went into how the old gamer use to be a geek that everyone made fun of for playing games and being computer smart, nowadays with all the streaming and social media and money involved we are allowing the same people that use to make fun us come into our world a change our games, and tell us how to play, was pretty interesting.

It’s pretty weird, yeah.
on the plus side, bladewind clan was a small one. and they eventually they developed a respect for the rangari/vindicators. to the point they’d only attack the lightly guarded caravans (unless the orc leading was overly bold/stupid).
also… they did’nt just enslave the draenei for that. it happened, yeah, but it was’nt the only reason. so… atleast that’s something.
again, no excuses, just saying, it’s not fully misogynistic (i’ll admit, some of them are, but not all of’em)
They aren’t the only clan to perform evil acts of misogyny.
