Just because you don’t think other people should feel punished because of something entirely out of their control doesn’t mean they don’t. Stop trying to order people how to feel. If you had to repeat bosses with no chance of getting gear in order to have a chance at the boss you really wanted, you’d be upset too.

FALSE. This is a lie. It used to work that way, but hasn’t in literally years.

Get put in a raid in progress. Clear all the bosses you don’t need. Queue again. Maybe this time you get a fresh instance, maybe you don’t. You still have to reclear all the bosses you already cleared or take a deserter debuff.

In season 4 of DF, I dealt with a lot of this. There should be an option to join the in-progress raid or return to the queue. Or provide a toggle to only join new runs

this was already reverted - I left after the second boss today and got no deserter.

If I remember correctly, your chances of getting a fresh instance is much higher, but it’s not 100% guaranteed. I do get fresh runs more often than not when I have to re-queue, but I have gotten in progress runs on that requeue. It’s only happened like twice for me, but it does happen.

Yeah, had that in Cata (I believe) and it was horrible. If anyone left during that run, it was pretty much a dead run at that point because practically no one wanted an in-progress run.

I was responding to a player who said you are guaranteed to get a fresh instance after entering one in progress. So you are agreeing with me that this is not true. There is no such guarantee any longer.

I mean, I just requeued after the backfill run and killed the one boss I missed and left. The debuff isn’t a big deal. Just take a 30 min break.

You deny that comment about having to kill some bosses more than once is true … then say there’s no reason to leave.

So your view is: you have no reason to leave so you don’t avoid killing some bosses twice.

Do you understand a logical argument?

Nope, that doesn’t really make sense to me. Still got chances at loot killing the other 2 bosses, and why delay it when you’re ready to go, y’know?

Why not wait for a full run? It’s not like I don’t have other characters since I’m being punished anyhow…plus if I know I’m being punished anyhow, I’m not inclined to help. Sorry, not sorry.

Not in LFR, you can only loot a boss 1x a week.
