>>BLIZZARD<<. Please make 21+ only realms

If you need a 21 + limitation on the game you’re playing, maybe you’re playing the wrong type of game.

That, or you need to work on your human interaction skills.

And tell us, how will they check age? :joy::joy:Make someone submit ID? If you say 18+ 21+ mature? You can bet you’re going to get tons of teens or trolls.

Yes please… had too many of them who thinks that burping in the mic loud makes them “cool” or something

It doesn’t.

This thread also brought back memories of a 16yr old that constantly begs people to get on discord to chat with him because he’s “bored to death”… and asks personal questions without filters that mature adults would normally blatantly not ask.

And then this friend he brought in who goes to the bathroom with his headset still on and makes everyone listen to him peeing… ugh.

In general, I find that younger generation often uses open mic and does not seem to care about forcing others to listen to their background noises, such as music / conversations with others nearby / whatever annoying rustling sound, etc…

Makes me wonder what kind of parents raised them.

Make Nightmare difficulty servers where group cooperation is required for even simple quests. Kids tend to lack reasoning and planning skills and want to be loners and show off, so they wouldn’t make it past level 10 before rage quitting back to a normal difficulty server.

A study came out last month asserting that peoples’ brains don’t actually become “adult” until they’re in their 30’s.

What age in their 30s?

I’m 33

Hollywood has shown that Rated R for the sake of Rated R doesn’t do any good if the product is crap.

So… keep that in mind Blizzard.

If that was 100% fool proof, ID theft wouldn’t exist.

Ugh, the replies in this thread shows why 21+ is important… :frowning:

They could most likely transition this technology to the forums, as well, which would lead to much more civilized discussions.

That probably would require them to attain a new rating from the ESB and effect the player base who could purchase the game. Sorry but we don’t need an adult content server.

can only really see that going-down for certain RP-realms. most others would’nt really fall under that umbrella.

Why stop there? 35+ realms please.

you understand parents make the account for kids in their name and credit card numbers right? you could do this but you would get the same results…
also i believe its against the tos for a minor to create an account even

You’re not seriously presumimg that everyone thats older than 21 is somehow a bastion of maturity and rationality are you? Oh boy.

That would also bring real casinos to the game and make it pay to win . You would have to pay $ for loot box that gives you a key for extra raid lockouts.

No ty

If blizzard did that every server would be 90% alliance lol.

Most supposed adults are far, far more immature than the 10 year olds I’ve played with.

Uh. No. Annoying as some children can be when they’re on the mic they have a place in the game too, and we should work to get along with them. Not alienate them. Age is like ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation. A factor that shouldn’t matter. You don’t have to like everyone in the world but respect should be a given, unless someone does something to lose it. Besides. My humor can get pretty childish at times and it’s great having them around when that happens. There’s a bunch of laughs and you make new friends out of it.

I’m aware of zero ppl whom left due to wow not having 21+ servers

6 months later

Did this really need a necro?
