Blizzard please, hear the community - Evokers want a glyph to perma be human. Add it in 10.1 plz

what’s the point of playing a Dragonkin Class and not being a Dragonkin?

I think moreso, we should be able to use any race for our Visages.

Being half-dragon? The half-dragon idea comes from the visage and it isn’t an alien concept → DnD half-races. Some just happen to prefer that over the full lizard. Many who want to have the option agrees that some abilities like soar and deep breath should be dragon form only, but would want to expand the capabilities of the visage. Some might just wanna change it back and forth.

Having permanent visage doesn’t equal to not being a dragonkin.

BUT! More race options would be welcome as well!

I just want to be able to tank on my Dracthyr. I hope they fix this flagrant mistake of releasing a new race and not giving it access to all roles before going into any cosmetic stuff. priorities.

Please please please.

It isn’t hard. Just like out of combat reverts to visage, after casting Breath or whatever else needs to be considered “dragon” only, automatically revert to visage form.

The WORST thing about Dracthyr evoker for me is transmog sucks! I like the playstyle, but I do care about what I am looking at, and looking a dragon all the time is not for me.

My raid puts down the transmorpher toy and I use it every chance so I can be a not dragon.

I like playing with my colors more than transmog don’t @ me

Such customization, much options. I’d love to see them in… action, so to speak. winky wink wink wink.

something wrong with your eye?

I could stand to play them if I only had to see the stupid gecko form for empowered spells.

As it stands seeing the pathetic attempt at a dragon they made just makes me log off it.

I’ve been trying to watch some streamers for fun and the majority of them use methods to avoid being a lizard. Happened in even MDIs. There is a lot of demand for this.

cowards

As unfortunate as it might be, people in general prefer mundane and normal characters. Like humans and elves.

This Reddit thread pretty much sums up public opinion on the topic. It asks why Evoker is the least played class in the game. The lack of transmog options and general opinion that the race is “ugly” is widely cited as the reason. The top comment about bad transmog options has 4 thousand upvotes alone.

I’m guessing it’s mostly because the lizard takes up so much screen real estate that it’s a problem. It’s significantly easier to see mechanics under you when you’ve got a costume on.

In waycrest manor i have costume toys ready for my sanity. Low ceilings are a blight. Similarly in black rook hold, on the last boss. Really hard to see the clouds on the ground around my model when he makes us all huge.

Late reply incoming cause of irl stuff. This is a good example why the visage form gets more points. Dracthyr wings can’t be solved on their own, because they’d look way too silly if you could toggle them on / off. :stuck_out_tongue:

I saw on another thread someone mentioned:
“If players were given choice to be human instead of dracthyr, guess which one they’d choose” or something along these lines, can’t remember the exact, but I tried my best to keep the message somewhat intact. And I fully agree with him. I would also add that half-races, like what visage portrays aesthetically, would be a great middle ground to pool people in to play dracthyr evokers. Especially so when we already have it done and it is possible. I don’t mean that we should enforce half-taurens for example, lets keep some logic in this

There’s like… Two pulls that happen in the actual hallways.

I’m relatively sure those costumes are for the memes. Unless you’re playing in first person there’s nothing about the model that makes ground mechanics get obscured…

Does not change the fact that it still happens and it’s still much harder to see things happening around you as the lizard rather than with a costume.

Can’t relate, literally never had an issue seeing things under me because of my player model.

Yeah that’s because nothing about the model takes up extra space on the ground in any way, lol.

You will see a lot more of your surroundings with party full of gnomes than party full of taurens.

This does not change that things directly under your character are not obscured by dragon form, or tauren, or any race to the point where it’s a valid excuse for a mechanic hitting you.

We’re talking about people claiming that the dracthyr model is hindering their ability to see mechanics, which just isn’t the case for any race, and certainly not dracthyr. Taking a largely top-down camera angle when mechanics are happening equalizes any model size issues either way.
