I’m some random on the Internet, it’s not a big deal. I say what I say because most of these forums are dominated by people hating on the Dracthyr models and it gets tiring as someone who actually likes Dracthyr and Evokers for what they are.
We disagree and that’s ok. Chill ya biz.

I really dislike the look of the Drak models but i think if youre doing something that needs a dragon part then you should be transformed.
With that said i also believe they should compromise. We should be able to glyph ot so that the Drakthyr form only appears to do an attack and then fades back into visage. At most youre a dragon for like 1.5 seconds.
At that point you retain class flavor and also have a 99% uptime on visage form, even in combat. They also need to add all the options to make the dragon form look better too, that model is terrible.

Are you playing dumb or what? that’s what options are for if you are happy with your scaly looking character good for you but there is a substantial amount of people who would prefer to see a humanoid character. Evoker is a a caster class which is much more closer to boomkin than any other druid form btw.
Thing is that most evokers abilities are not just simply casting spells the way a moonkin does, but things that specifically require dragon anatomy to do (wings, tails, breath). There is a reason why moonkins have their glyphs to fight in humanoid form, but cat and bear don’t.
If blizz really listened to people they wouldn’t have waited to the end of the expansion to add something that should have been baseline since day freaking 1 (dragonriding soar). Or gave them the ability to tank or at least be other classes since its very well stablished in their lore that only the elite Dracthyrs are Evokers, there are images of Dracthyr in plate armor, wearing polearms. So there was absolutely no reason why Dracthyrs couldn’t have been atleast warriors too

I don’t think illusionary form to have such limitation for magic casting. Maybe the tail sweep/wing push are the wonky ones as they seem to be 1:1 with bear/cat claws logic. Even then the current gliding is accomplished with hover-ish magic so it seems like they can substitute their physical form with magic.
Disintegrate, fire breath and many others can work in the human form. Not all the abilities need to be able to be used as a human just 90% that makes sense. It is dracthyr after all.

To be honest, I’d rather have freedom of visage as in pick any race visage form.
Supporting the idea on expanding to other races!

still waiting on this. pretty important need for evoker. so long as evoker is locked behind dracthyr, and dracthyr’s visage is more customizable than any other race in the game, it will be a necessity. Its easily the most enjoyable class in gameplay for me, but I’m not particularly fond of having to be a dracthyr 24/7 and hide any 2h weapons and the bulk of any gear i get.

It’s a big ask for sure, but would love to hear what devs think about this. Is it ever coming? Do they hear our plea? Do they disagree completely or do they agree and it is in the works already?
It’s been asked for such a long time it would be nice to hear from them. The whining would stop if we knew whats happening 
Last piece of information we heard was Ion talking about ways of integrating the visage form in combat, but that was at the start of the expansion.
I want Glyphs but not for the visage. I want ability cosmetics like fiery disintegrates or shadowflamey flame breaths. :U
