It’s probably one of the most common things I hear evokers say. Give us a glyph please! We know you are listening to the community, so please listen to this recommendation. The dragon form isn’t too appealing to most people, it’s cool but should be able to be turned off if I want, other than me having to use atomic recalibrator constantly lol.

They (activision) are busy being taken over by microsoft
and care nothing while you pay regardless
BC higher ups are telling them if money is coming in, its ok
Whether it makes sense or not, if it costs anything, it will be denied

Well man, maybe you are right, but I still have hope, they seem to be trying to listen more.
Many people like the idea of having a glyph or perma human option so I hope people can comment and show support.

I mean… This feels quite similar to asking them to make a glyph so worgen can be human always. Part of being a dracthyr is to be dracthyr. Perhaps a better route of suggestion would be to see work done for the evoker spec to be expanded on to other classes, with unique customizations befitting a “dragon-esque” form of other races. It would be the more time-consuming solution and would require Blizzard to open up the class to other races, which was previously seen as being incredibly unlikely, but it would handle the general feeling that Dracthyr would be losing their “Dracthyr-ness”.

I dont think it is really as comparable to worgen since evoker is a class that has its mechanics directly linked to some aspects of the Dracthyr like wings and tail (their racials also have talents in the evoker tree that buff it, which is something no other race has).
A worgen player picks the race with the freedom to play as any class or the option to have the human appearence with those same classes (most of them and likely soon all of them) by picking human.
Evoker being allowed to other races would be far more troublesome/lorebreaking than just allowing for the dractyr to have more freedom with visage in combat and all races option for visage would be a more elegant (and cheaper) solution to the issue imo.
Currently Dractyrs are very restricted transmog wise, which is particularly sad since one of the main long term reward types in the game are transmogs/cosmetics and blizz is doubling down on this even more now with new cosmetics on trading post each month.
Evokers are by far my favorite class so far, only thing that is missing is to do some change regarding visage so that i can enjoy transmogs as much as i used to on my old toons.

Ideally we should have both options, since it is their new motto since the great shadowlands customization patch came, but i think its less likely/cost more development time than they would by just enabling a glyph with animations that already exist in game.
Though it is still one of the most common non balance related request that evokers have currenty and i fully support both requests, since they aren’t by any means mutualy exclusive.

I’m kind of baffled at the premise of this thread. The Evoker’s inextricably linked to the fantasy of being a dragon. We literally breathe fire and hover off the ground with our wings.

And this particular request doesn’t affect your freedom to do as such.
Perfect example being people having the option of a glyph like druid’s glyph of stars since cataclysm. People can still use moonkin form to this day, and if they don’t, there is the glyph for that.
Regarding the fantasy, while we are dragokin, we are not true dragons, so as such should not be restricted to the same limitations, and even considering these, many of the true dragons fight as visages from time to time, like Chromie and Kalecgos.
(Like deaths of chromie and some of the azure span questline)
TLDR: More options would be beneficial for those who want it and it isn’t by any means mutually exclusive with requests for more dragonlike customization
