Honestly that sounds rather like a skill issue…
Like im actively raiding on my augvoker, and there are no ground effects that are hidden by the draconic form. Or a graphics issue…
So you picked a class that is only available on this one race…

Race and class are intrinsically connected. Abilities that use the draconic features.

What would be nice too is an option to make the visage form the default form for players who want that. So visage would show on the character selection screen and armory as well. We could still switch to dragon form during combat only, but everything else shows the visage.

That’s because it is one.
There are no ground particle effects that are blocked by our wings. Our wings extended out and don’t come remotely close to effects that are under our character models.
I don’t want to be human, though. I made my Dracthyr to be a Dracthyr, same as my Worgen.
If I wanted to be human or an elf I would play one of those.
I never go on the forums; maybe like 5 times in the last 10 years. Check the log lol But even I took the time to come here to post exactly this. Make the flying abilities turn us dragon and when the effects end go RIGHT back to human form. I’ll take the compromise. I will not play this spec until it’s added but i DO want to play it 
I just want to reiterate that I often play with a transformation item on e.g. Coin of Many Faces, Orb of the Sin’Dorei, Orb of Deception, Ogre transformations etc.
All of the moves still look fine. Even deep breath, you hover over and flames come out of you.
It’s amazing to me that people care if other people get something like a perma-visage for Evoker… if you don’t want it, don’t use it.
Hell, I’m not even sure I’d use it at this stage but options are good!

I think they look pretty garbo, mainly because there isn’t an actual animation for them.
I’m at max zoom so I really don’t mind it.
Got to agree with Battle here they look fairly bad. Its even hard to tell if your still in hover most of the time when your using another race. Personally I’m fine with Transforming into my dragon form for some abilities.
so why does the dragon form bother you if you don’t see it in the first place?
I didn’t say it “bothered” me. I wouldn’t mind more options, though. And if we did have it, and I used it… I’d still use toy items.
I’m sure this will light a BIG fire under Blizz to change it.
Never understood caring so much about rp stuff that you won’t even play a class you’re interested in.
I would be happy for others to get the option to stay in visage all the time, but my preference is to make more armour show on the dracthyr form, at least the tier bare minimum. Decoupling the dracthyr and visage transmog would make sense if either or both of these were implemented.
i agree to a point, I like the dragon while doing damage but I would love for the visage toggle to actually work. There are a lot of time im still in dragon form long after combat weather from a hover or something. I think if they make visage like the DH demons and show up then immedialty dissapear when not needed I think a lot more people will be happy and make it a part of the true self toggle that way if people want to stay a dragon they can and the rest don’t have to.

Go play an elf if you don’t want to be a dragon. Stop trying to make something amazing into something lame.
Perma visage is pretty much mandatory at this point or the race goes extinct.
bruhhh just because you are a furry doesnt mean everyone share your view on that new HERO CLASS THAT IS LINKED TO ONE RACE AND HAS THE ONLY SUPPORT SPEC IN THE ENTIRE GAME. What does it change to you if people want to look at a humanoid instead of what we have now, you are so cringe that’s why people hate the furry community
