Blizzard Nerfing Leveling After Global Release is a SCANDAL

From the beginning i called bs. i hated it. i had early access. the only good thing was fast leveling. the rest was bull shiz. 100 pnt gear difference and 10 levels and being out tanked / healed / dps’d by level 70s. thats not fun for me. its broken. i was told enjoy the ride… enjoy what? low levels out doing everything???

Their so-called scheduled maintenance is interfering with my time to play the game. I get home from work at 7 am pdt. I haven’t gotten a decent leveling day yet and now the are going to nerf leveling. I have changed my subscription from 6 month to month-month. I do not think I will be playing this game too much longer.

A sample size of… YOU … is also not a proper representation of ‘facts’.

…this is exactly what is being fixed…

Its disgusting and unsurprising. All early access did was benefit people with an excess amount of time to play, while further punishing those with less time. Its comical that this wasnt ‘caught’ in beta, but again unsurprising. The discussion towards making this game lean back towards more casual audience is nice and all but when actual changes like this are implemented it really goes to show that they care about their subscription fees and not much else. This is just a giant F You to everyone w/o early access.

I agree as well, getting ridiculous.

Exactly! To the point!

“guys buy our epic edition game or you will have tons of server issues and maintenances we allowed to go on for 3 days of early access without fixing and we will nerf your leveling speed after the pay pigs get their benefits.” the people defending this are insane.

1m dps?

rookie numbers, ww monk, ret paladin, mages all dropping bombs at 5m+

those same characters 20 dungeons worth of gear at 77+ are doing like 10% of that tops

the testing charge would have been irrelevant, they weren’t dropping people into beta at level 70 with gear appropriate for a level 77

But his is possibly the worst time to “fix” it. They do the craptastic bs that is early access, let it stew for days, then when the entire playerbase begins leveling it’s suddenly an issue that needs to be resolved? Even if it wasn’t planned it is extremely bad optics for Blizzard. It gives the image that they are giving people who pay more a competitive advantage, this reeks any way you look at it.

Man o man we never complained like this in 2007. New generations in the world.

Hey good news, if they were split on spending the extra $40 maybe next time they wont be.

Consider this as well, I can’t recall a single maintenance during EA.

Since global release we’ve had 2 in a row.

Casual has many meanings. It’s doesn’t just mean someone who doesn’t have time to play as much as someone else.

For TWW it look like Blizz believes casual is offering more progression paths and content for end game than just M+ and Raids and they seem to have succeeded.

After watching the tanks run off and gathering all mobs by the time I got to him to help down the mobs the mobs were dead. I placed a blanket toy some stuffed animals and pillows then built a fire had some cocktails while the tank finished the dungeon for us hahahahaha

I mean… the prepatch gear didn’t help with that. I am almost level 74 and I have only replaced one piece of prepatch event gear so far… I feel they may have overshot with the gear from the event.

No “slap in the face”?

OP does not deliver. I am not mad. Jus disappointed.

When I started this character on release, I was below iLevel 400.

I still breezed through the content. I didn’t get above 500 until around 75 or 76 I believe. I leveled as protection because I knew that the mobs would be harder to kill because of HP and deal more damage so I wanted to increase my chances of survive to the max.

Then there is The Rookery dungeon you have to do, and I didn’t even notice that it queued me as a follower mode dungeon. And it was just a joke it was so easy and I barely took any damage at all even while pulling massive groups.

When I did get into actual dungeons with people, I started to take more damage as I got higher level, but I never died. The only two times I have died so far is the Hammer in the city for Achiev and I accidentally pulled a level 80 rare at 73. lol

It’s been like this since BC.
