Well you decided to make the statement. You think that soloing dungeons is an exploit, even though you can do it right now in dungeons that sort of matter? Where as TW matters to no one?
Also, you should really try to do Zekvir hard mode. Oh, and hunter pets can’t tank it because he one shots them. So… just let me know how that goes for you.
Oh man just solo’d the Rookery might be banned later for… checking notes “exploiting” by killing things with weapons.

They shouldn’t be using that nifty little macro or queuing to skip the debuff.
Again, people are not being banned just for turning their XP off at level 11.

That’s exactly right. Being in timewalking at level 11 has not been confirmed as the reason for the bans either.
I’m interested to find out what people are actually doing because it’s not just that.

The only thing he did was leveling his accounts with Twink and along with his friends, there’s no macros, addons / programs involved. But thanks for your thoughts.
So he was bypassing the XP debuff in order to multibox and power level multiple accounts along with his friends.

The only way to do what you state he was doing is to use a level 20 “trial” account or level 70 “no TWW” account. A twink will have their XP locked and they give the rest of the group a XP debuff. To get around that debuff is possible, but the assumption is that this is what Blizzard banned for (as the debuff exists for a reason, clearly they didn’t plan for people to find ways around it). There’s no proof that is what they banned for (as there were people doing this that didn’t get banned, luck maybe?), as it could just as easily have been they were selling runs (RMT), doing the dungeon loot hack (guaranteeing loot), etc. There’s no clear indication one way or another what really the ban wave was about.

He wasn’t selling boost or multiboxing it, it was his account and his friends. I believed you know wow can be multiple accounts such as WOW1 & WOW(N) etc, which is blizzard allowed. His accounts are not trial and the characters reach max level during the leveling process. So it wasn’t selling boost, exploiting exp turn off.
It could be assumed that simply turning off XP wasn’t the reason (as if that was the reason, Blizzard could remove the NPC and unlock everyone). However, due to there also being no real reason stated for the ban, or an update on any policies, I’ve cancelled my wow account I had my twinks on. Not worth the risk of losing my 20 year old wow accounts.

So could you explain to us how they were able to queue with their friends on their twink and their friends not get the experience eliminated debuff?

They were’re low levels and as you know blizzard scaling isn’t working at it finest, and only one of his character is twink. May be blizzard don’t like he gifting his friends with that long boi mounts and gametime, which hurting their wallet.
