Blizzard ignoring faction imbalance: Why?

That have sense, I got it and I’m not against the idea. But they won’t do it.

I was playing when they put the mercenary system on retail, to me, it looked as a simple and good idea to balance the bgs. But the amount of tears on forums was biblical. Sadly, they just don’t have the balls for do something like what you are proposing.

What happened there?

I know the cactus is supposed to mean something but I am not entirely sure what it is supposed to represent.

Someone clue me in, legit question btw. I am genuinely curious…

It’s still very 1 sided and players phase in and out of unbalanced shards. It’s a gongshow.

It’s a PvP server. that’s what those that play on them signed up for. To be on a dominate faction.

It’s a blizzard created problem.

How can the players be reasonably expected to make the right decision with zero information provided to them? Once they realize the problem, they’ve already invested significant amounts of time.

Oh I’m not arguing that. I wish they went back to PVP servers. I hate warmode.

The only ones that would be whining (if faction queues/transfers were a thing) would be those who don’t want the balance that would remove their advantage over others.

Are you suggesting those on the non dominant faction do not exist, or want to be dominated?

Blizz would rather view their customers as responsible adults able to fix their own problems vs babysitting them like little children.

OK kids the Horde line is too long. We need some of you to move over to the Alliance line please. Don’t make us have to force you.

No; they exist. But it’s just a tough luck scenario. How does blizzard fix it? Restrict Horde character creation and transfers? Good luck with that.

Good grief.
How many times do faction queues + free transfers need to be proposed and explained?

I swear, trying to propose something is like trying to have Zoolander get the files that are in the computer.

Why would they have free transfers when people pay for them? They offered them initially; I don’t see it happening going forward. Look at retail. There are many dead servers with no free transfer options.

Ok? Good answer lol.

Blizz didn’t force anyone to create a character of a certain faction. Blizz didn’t force people to move.

They have free transfers CURRENTLY. All they would need to do is enact faction queues, and free transfers from Horde Stacked to Alliance Stacked, and vice versa.

That is about as much attempt at explaining this to you as I am willing to do. If you still do not get it, you never will.

Garbage reasoning is garbage. Blizzard shares responsibility when they fail to regulate population balance.

Why should Blizzard have anything to do with this? If the players cared that much, they would fix it themselves. The players don’t care.

But not wrong.
