Oh, the irony! My sides!
As a group, we planned for months. We knew what we were going to do and planned our return to wow together as we had in years past. That was killed due to ill preparations on blizzards part.
Are you really still whining about this?
cry more dude.
practically every server, even the low pop ones have queues, im not playing on a streamer server, Herod has a 15k queue right now, the server with the smallest queue has 4k waiting. What are we supposed to do, change from server to server and start leveling new character everytime we want to play to try and avoid queues?
I just wonder if this is still more of their “extend sub time” philosophy.
A bunch resub for Classic, have ques because you didn’t want to waste on upgrades, and every moment they spend in que is time logged in and more time later on you will need to level.
Starting to smell a little like Blizzard’s old tricks.
I have 4 hours to burn. Might as well talk about it, right?
I would also add capping the servers early during the naming giving everyone time to improvise.
I have an idea, log out and stay out about 10 min, and log back in and see where those queues are.
Maybe, and bare with me here as I flesh this out in my head, it’s possible that all of that time spent in the queue goes towards their MAU numbers.
Define the irony.
We aren’t in a position of design or control. What we believe doesn’t matter aside from if we pay.
When you’re the developers, the echo chamber can be crippling. Especially if you are seriously out of touch.
Apples to oranges.
i had no queues to get on krommush or w/e the heck it’s called to play this evening
most people have options
guess you have to weigh queue vs. reserved name or w/e is keeping you on an overpopulated server
but you do have options
Yes we could move but can you guarantee the server we move to will not be a high pop in a few hours? Why can’t Blizz cap the servers? Me and my friends rolled a low pop Monday just like Blizz wanted. We level to 10, level profs, and do class quests. Now the low pop becomes a high pop while I am playing. Is that my fault?
Wrong smolderweb kurinnaxx, blaumeux, and more are open no queue. you guys are trolls
Log out for 10 min or so and try to log back in and see what happens.
I don’t think they’re dumb, they just have friends who they want to play with on that server.
smolderweb, kurinnaxx and blaumeux are pacific time servers, as well as the “and more” you probably refer to. Yeah and im a troll…
The irony is that these forums are an echo chamber. Whether you have power over the design decisions of the game is irrelevant. News flash, the majority of developers don’t have power over the design or implementation - it comes from higher up and they do what they’re told to do.
Everyone is circle jerking on these forums about how terrible and stupid and out of touch Blizzard is without taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture.
o u missed the d3 launch…thats cute…
What bigger picture? That they had years to anticipate and prepare and they fumbled again? The question is “why?”
Were they so out of touch that they didn’t see this coming?
Or is it intended?
Either way, it is apples to oranges. This echo chamber you claim here is not relevant. In case you didn’t know, “fan” is short for “fanatical.” All fans are typically what you could call an echo chamber. Welcome to fanhood.
