We expected it, Blizzard didn’t
How hard is it to understand that the game will die down in probably just a week, you dont need 100 dead servers in a month time. play on the current open servers or dont play at all, not that hard of a concept.
Read what I said. I said was, past tense, because obviously something changed but the mindset I am sure has not changed 100%. They truly believe nobody will want to play classic in large numbers compared to their retail mess of a game.
Perfectly said. Could not agree more. The tinfoil hats need to come off.
What if it doesn’t though? You ever think, maybe you’re wrong? Or does that narcissism run deep?
You have no evidence to support this, infact the evidence goes against your theory.
Blizzard has continuously been opening new servers since launch.
HAHAH if Im wrong then you can say you told me so and ill eat crow, but something tells me this wont be an issue for long.
People made certain considerations when reserving their names.
1: Is the server going to have a lot of players?
If yes, then you get in there and claim your name.
2: Is this server going to remain alive?
The likely choice is to pick the most popular as it will have a higher chance of maintaining a high population.
What happens if you level on a smaller realm with your chosen name and they end up having to merge? You likely will be flagged for a name change and yet another disappointment.
Telling players that resubbed to claim their names to just go play another realm, knowing full well the leveling in a grind, is NOT the solution.
You are 100% right. It’s a funny meme but he said it years ago and they ended up approving the product and launching it trying to keep it as close to the original as they possibly could. They could have easily kept their feet dug into the sand refusing to budge on the topic. Heck, he even was made to humble himself and be the one that came out on stage to announce it.
i just think that the mentality of thinking that switching to a new server that no one is on just to play and also that the servers will die down in a weeks time is just stupid, why would anyone want to switch servers to play now if in a week there will be no one on it? they should just make the servers bigger or make like a version 2 of a server, like Herod (2) where the overflow of people go there and when it dies down it goes back to just 1 herod
I’ll give you some advice
Everyone screws up, it’s human nature. We learn from our mistakes or at least we’re suppose to.
J. Allen Brack’s quote is still used today cause not only does he not learn from his mistakes, Blizzard doesn’t ether. Hence while people still use it cause it literally probably is Blizzards moto, or at least I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.
/shrug
hahah you say there playing on that realm but somehow waiting in a 10k+ queue obviously some logic is flawed there…
the lowest pop pvp realm as of yesterday has an hour queue right now. this weekend itll be 6 hrs.
so ill have to reroll on a new server this weekend
It wont be an issue when people get fed up and give it up because half their friends are quite a ways ahead of them and then they ask what is the point?
Look everyone, the circus has given us our very own clown! He even works for free and thinks he’s a peoples!
Got a question for you, buddy: Why are you here? In this forum, posting about a game you clearly don’t like? Is it… wait! Are you LONELY! Are you looking for attention? Aww, that’s cute.
Go back to your corner, put your dunce cap back on and take your medicine.
What are you trying to tell me here? Everything you said is common knowledge.
You say he doesn’t learn from his mistakes? Then why is Classic a thing?
Good good!
Umm have you thought that maybe people have different work schedules? Don’t be stupid.
my God, millions want to play, it is what it is. This is what we wanted, huge PvP server populations, well we got them and in time things will settle down.
I has no problem logging in this morning and got plenty of game time in.
It’s like we are crying for Blizz to repeat past mistakes where we end up with dead servers or imbalanced ones.
No doubt there is a huge influx of retail players who will quickly disappear and things will settle down.
My god, straighten out your priorities if this is causing that much distress to your well being.
To bad I just checked and multiple servers a re open no queue and pvp…
