Blizzard hates Classic RPers

It may not be what everyone thinks of as a not-dead-server, but we’ve been here on Grobbulus Classic Era as Legacy since 2021. The guild started as about 3 people, and over the years we’ve grown it to 16 people clearing our first MC in 2021, 25 people clearing our first BWL in 2022, 30 clearing AQ40 in 2023, and our first Naxx clear and KT kill in March of this year. Since then we’ve almost formed 5 Ateishes even!

Sure long gone are the OG Grobb days (I’m a Day 1 Grobb mobber, as are others of our guildies), but it’s truly been the best wow experience, community, and journey I’ve ever been a part of since I started playing this game in 2004.

I’d also argue that because Grobb is not clustered is precisely why we’ve been successful here, and why we’ve attracted the players we have. We aren’t looking to be in a clustered server with the rest of the players. We just want our small town post apocalyptic farm server  if we were clustered, it wouldn’t have the same vibe here. We’d be another run of the mill guild in Whitemane. Which we also have free character moves to, but do not take because we enjoy it here.

Anyways, anyone reading who’s interested, come join the fun on Grobbulus Classic Era! We’ve been here since TBC prepatch, and we’ve grown despite TBC, Wrath, SoM, SoD. And we’ll still be here when Anniversary ends and those who wish to keep playing Vanilla are seeking a permanent home.

Grobbulus Forever. Legacy Forever.

Yours in Battle,

Jarl
