I was hoping for Murlocs to be playable at some point. Only so I can demostate to Ion how the devs have been treating the Alliance. A Fish Slap.
No more elf races. Unique races or no more. reskins are lame af
Some might be bored of them, but it would make a lot of people happy.
I cover basically everything here.
Murloc mog.
Fish weapon mog.
Yeah, we do.
Honestly, should really be contained to one thread, not multitudes of them.
Yeah I completely agree Alliance is getting fish slapped I hope they get something cool and unique like Setherak which the should have gotten.
I forgot about you.
Honestly, I donât think Sethrak wouldnât of been a good AR for the Alliance too, since they do put more effort towards the Horde. And the Vulpera wasnât asked by the Horde to join there ranks, the Vulpera asked to join the Horde.
One that I wouldâve been happy with actually is Vrykul. But, dunno the story with them whether they have any groups with the Alliance (since I started only maining Alliance a few months ago)
ESO has several variations of human, but no one minds that because itâs about the story and role playing. Guaranteed if they added High Elves tomorrow GD would find some other complaint to complain about.
(Commentary): âCool,â and, âUnique,â is how we got such races as Kul Tirans, Lightforged Draenei, Mechagnomes, and Void Elves (which horribly missed the mark of an actual request). At this point, Iâd say Blizzard should focus on making Alliance players happy in the Allied Race department by actually giving them a race theyâve asked for. High Elves is a popular, long standing request. Adding them wonât hurt anyone, itâll end these threads, and we can finally move on to thinking of other options, rather than being stuck in the rut of asking for something that should have been playable on the Alliance as far back as Vanilla.
YeahâŚ
âDear Blizzard, stop unskimping our Skimpy Mogsâ
Yeah I think Vrykrul would be great
(I have seen mixed opinions on it though)
I would love to see Alliance have them Iâd play one
Blood Elves are differenât culturally than what High Elves are considered at this point.
Blood Elves still use fel crystals and are light infused from their light users.
High Elves do none of these and have had to culturally adapt to being away from the Sunwell.
Iâve always said popularity trumps uniqueness in AR scenarios like these, because Blizzard believes theyâve given us unique races recently and the past 2 are hilariously underplayed as compared to other Alliance Races.
If we want to run a test, lets get just 1 race weâve actually requested and see how that goes.
But, the point is Hamoron,
People should have every right to play any race available to either faction in game, regardless of what faction theyâre on. If people want to play High Elves within the Alliance, then they should have every right to. If people want to play an Ogre on the Horde, then they should have every right too.
After all, the whole identity of the factions is really losing its flavour as Blizzard has sort of ruined the true meaning of âFor the Hordeâ or âFor the Allianceâ, especially with the story of BfA. Factions may of been a great idea at the start of the WoW life, but it is starting to take its toll (mainly with the story).
Everyone should have every right to play what ever they want, regardless of which faction they roll.
Those were all new made up races
KT humans were there lore wise but never in game before.
There are plenty of pre existing races (That arenât already playable) in the game people have wanted to play for a long time now that can be given to Alliance like Vrykrul
Helves are already playable.
(Observation): As much as I am in favor of Vykrul, if High Elves are playable, then so are Vykrul, since weâve already got humans. Several varieties, actually. Bland humans, Fat humans, Furry humans, and Undead humans.
(Commentary): I will reiterate my opinion. They should add High Elves as an Alliance Allied Race. Throw in class options that neither Blood Elves or Void Elves can have, but which can be explained by High Elves simply assimilating into the cultures of other Alliance races. The obvious answers are Druids and Shamans, both of which are also popular class options, and the Alliance happens to be missing a Druid option as well, so that fits nicely.
Well the factions are kind of the point to the game. Maybe they will remove the faction restrictions someday but until then neither faction should get the other faction Races 100% the same as a race the other faction has.
If they changed the high elf models sure but people wouldnât be satisfied with that.
Iâd love a new model for high elves.
We already have High Elves. Theyâre just purple and call themselves Void Elves now.
More Elves on Alliance? Whatever. That means less gnomes and furries.
Or are fair skinned and call themselves Blood Elves now.
