for you to play free, someone else spent $20 for your game time. You were paying $12-$15. blizz is making at least another $5.

if there is a wow token on the AH for you to buy then SOMEONE has paid $20 for it. so even if you’re paying for YOUR subscription with gold blizzard still makes the $15 plus an extra $5 profit, if no one was buying wow tokens you wouldn’t be able to pay for your sub with gold bizzard wins either way
And the worst part? The WoW tokens have a pretty big DR so the more you sell, the less you get for selling them to the point where you eventually end up getting over 1,000 less than when you first began to post them in an effort to get you to buy more.
Smart. The gold selling is often the front. Their real business is keyloggers and identity theft.
Its not about YOU buying gold, he was pointing out the flaws in your original post. Yeah it may be slightly cheaper to buy gold from some garbage, sketchy website, but the ramifications of doing so far outway the benefits. Save 5 bucks for the potential of reveiving the banhammer or worse yet, those websites steal your card info because only a moron would trust that kind of website in the first place.

It IS relevant. You’re claiming the game is free to play, when it’s quite literally not. Hilarious that you say you don’t care if someone else paid $20 when that very fact demonstrates that the game is in fact NOT free to play.
Making the game free to play specifically for you by transferring the cost (+$5) to someone else does not make a game free to play.

I quit wow less than half way through BFA and only come back for classic. I quit wow again when they announced no rdf. I came back for DF only because I had so much gold laying around on my retail alts that the game was free to play, for me. I don’t get how people don’t understand that.
