Blizzard, can we get the option to pause unused game time?

Their refund policy and all other policy’s are posted long before you ever made a purchase! Yes BBB is a joke and have been since you can buy a rating.

Keep us posted how this works out.

If BBB is a private company then there’s nothing that they can do. Also organisations that get paid by corps for positive feedback is a big flag for anyone. And I don’t think some random politician is going to get involved in your complaint. Even Australia’s ACCC government consumer organisation is rather toothless for individuals here. Good luck to you, but I don’t like your chances of getting any resolution that you think you deserve.

43 replies - some of which are mine, and yet I remain the only individual who mentioned the topic of this thread. It’s no wonder why most people detest this community.

Are none of you interested in pausing unused game time? If not, then why are you here?

Welcome to a given forum - where folks will talk about and debate on things. It isn’t an echo camber of agreement. If you all you want is folks is blindly agreeing with you, then it’d one hell of a thing to find.

Blizzard wants folks to TALK about things and help IMPROVE something, explain why something won’t work and see what the idea can be done with. It isn’t an ‘Who agrees with me?’.

Well, part of that might have to do with the fact that you seem to have edited the original post and title. I’m not sure exactly when that was switched but I think folks were originally trying to respond to that.

To answer the question currently in the first post and title… If that is something you’d like to see, you’d want to submit a suggestion either by posting in the General Discussion forum or by using the in-game option found under the support menu.

It is highly unlikely that something like that would be introduced. A Game subscription is like most other service contracts, like your Internet, Cable, Phone Bill, Gym Membership, etc… You pay a set amount for access during a specific amount of time. If you know you cannot use, or do not wish to use the service at some point it should be canceled (although we do have the ability to pause the next payment for your subscription, it does not allow you to pause unused game time).

If you take advantage of one of our special offers, like a discounted subscription cost by using the 3, 6 or 12 month subscription options, then you are paying for those blocks of game time up front. It still functions the same though, you have paid for the game time, regardless of if you decide to use it or not.

In either case, it doesn’t hurt to put in the suggestion so I would encourage you to do so in the appropriate location.

Now, as this entire thread seems to have been rather contentious I’m going to close it. I don’t think there is anything really productive here that requires further discussion.
