I’ve seen it already now. GM didn’t say harpies and mines were afk.

On anyone that dies, that i have tagged with debuff or dot etc.
Not on anyone i have not even touched though

Ton of people consider that afk. Most say if you’re not with the team or doing turn ins you’re afk.

Exactly. This is why I’m concerned if these bans are based on number of AFK reports a person has received.

If you read the link, you can see the GM personally looked into it and saw exactly what they were doing. They were afk, not farming or questing or just being reported (even though that is what the OP was trying to claim).

Long story short: No worries, afkers are getting punished, players are not.

Could be the gms check it out. However, if they see you in the mines or killing harpies that probably suffices as participation.

Right, so they’re getting more honor unless you’re tab targeting every horde for tags which is nearly as bad as afk

I’d wager much lower. They specifically state that these kind of bans are not automated and I am inclined to believe them…not that I have much reason to trust this company any longer.

Im a resto druid, you are familiar with those, right?

What is it that i do that is remotely useful in a BG?

  1. Heal and spam MOTW
  2. spam everything in site with Faerie and Moon fires

Lord knows i am not directly killing much, havent the damage for it

I find it humorous how many people have reached rank 12+ (including many of the R13’s and 14’s that finished over the past few week) and now get to sit back and laugh at everyone who now tried to copy what they did to maximize honor generation.

Game doesnt take much skill in general, any amount of breathing from the person playing can completely change the outcome of a fight.

Almost always the recall will be 3-5+, and that’s people that are probably actually useful on O
But then you wouldn’t get that precious honor

Real talk that’s one of the biggest issues I see with AV. If you’re primarily going for honor it excludes so many strategies
Especially when its assumed a loss and potentially 0 LT killed, where the only honor you might get is HK

I help people summon and then DHK bots
I have 0 honor or rank, not that i would have much anyways, but it’s funner to trade it away re-ranking a bot

Too little, too late. In Vanilla, as alliance, PvP was about my favorite part of the game. In Classic… I reached R7 this week and got my plus hit boots, and I will never set foot in a BG in Classic again. Not for any reason.

I think suspension might be a more appropriate word. Ban implies “you ain’t comin’ back!”
