I’ve used the corded naga since TBC and was never banned. This new wireless is the only thing in common between both of my computers and banned useing both.

I’m just trying to figure out the issue. Not fun being banned after all these years and having no clue why.

Speaking of mouse software.

There is a known WoW bot that uses logitech G hub to hide itself:

Also having mouse software doesn’t give you a free pass to turn a mouse button into something that does 30 different keypresses via 1 physical keypress.

I always keep my mouse on factory settings. I just use the side buttons on the mouse instead of the ones on my keyboard.

Was just checking to see if the OP had something in common with me to try and figure this out.

I will tell you a little something that happened to my brother on another MMORPG.

He had a gaming keyboard (dont remember which one now) that he used on his PC.
This KB had macros and some scripts (for lack of a better term) pre programed into it.
He never used any of that. But the games sensors picked it up and knew exactly
what it was. He was banned for a week because of the KB he was using.
Multiple GMs of the game even told him thats what it was

If it’s my hardware, I would be happy to take a week ban and be able to fix the issue. Permanently banned and no clue why is what I got.

In best snape voice well miss snyde us aka the GMS dont give out priviledged information like that for it would be a goldmine for the botmakers to know what tips blizzard off.

Well I have and use razer keyboard and mouse yet I’m not banned so your theory is just that. Also are any of you guys using a system that was pre installed with Bloatware if so then only way is a fresh install without the bloatware. Laptops and pre built systems can be notoriously bad with bloatware

Used a razer mouse and keyboard for 10+ years with no issues. This new wireless is the only change I’ve done. Have to come up with ideas from other people that have been banned to find a fix.

What do you use the side buttons for? Are you just keybinding normal spells to the keys or are you using the mouse software to make macros?

So I don’t know exactly what that person does, but I have the side mouse buttons on a Naga rebound to number keys, and use that to cast spells.

Never caused me any issues, but then again each button on the mouse is only bound to 1 specific input (IE: MB4->9, MB1->3, etc)

They are my number keys, the default action bar that I just add my spells to. I don’t use the mouse software. My playstyle is very basic.

You wouldn’t have been banned for something that happened in one day. Ban-worthy investigations take time.
