As someone who really wanted tinker. I am happy with envoker. I still want tinker don’t get me wrong but at least it’s not another melee. I will continue to hope for tinker in the future though. I hope they will get back on the track of a new class every other expansion. For the people that will say “they need to balance the current classes not add new ones.” I’m surprised you are dumb enough to expect classes to ever be balanced. It’s a multi-player game that people mid-max for pve and pvp. It will NEVER be balanced.
I think a Dragon race could be cool but they looking hella derpy at the mo. I want a Chad-Dragon to compliment my small Romeo-Gnomeo. Also other class options, every Chad-Dragon need some 3inch Plate armor. Kthx.

There’s no burned of proof on either of you to provide information at all. people know some players wanted XYZ, people also know other players wanted ABC. We KNOW people wanted things, they all had their mega threads about it and mainly posted their wants in those threads.
trying to make a contest out of “who wanted what more” is a wasted effort, especially at this point in the expansion announcement.
I mean I agree, I think arguing about this whole thing is strange since I’m perfectly happy with the new race/class. I just wanted to point out that some people were kinda invalidating the OP’s point by saying this game has 5 million people or something, when like if let’s say A = 800, then the opposite of A isn’t B, it’s just not A. We don’t know what’s B, so using that as an argument is kinda dishonest and was just used to shut the OP down.

you’re not wrong, it is pretty silly to argue about. I understand disappointment in not getting the race choice that someone thought was a perfect fit to bring in but its not worth being upset much over. its a “damn dude” moment. not worth lashing out at people because Blizz didn’t give them tinkers, etc.
That said people being sad due to not getting the thing they wanted is not open season for people to belittle them or shut them down.

Yes and I’d argue that it’s kinda strange to introduce Tinkers when the expansion is about Dragons.
Focusing on classes, Blizzards history of their class release follows a theme, MoP = Monks, Legion = Demon Hunters, Dragonflight = Evokers. So unless if they release a tech-based expansion in the future, I don’t really see them adding Tinkers just because people are asking for it.

The new races I wouldn’t mind, but I didn’t want a tinker class in a Dragon expansion – People called me dumb for believing it wouldn’t happen, and thinking that we’d get a dragon race / class instead in one of my other threads – Kinda awkward now, given that I was right. lol
Personally I was hoping for the Drakonid

But eh … Hopefully they listen to further feedback and implement some changes along the way. Plus some additional announcements for further races to be made accessible ahead. 
The only reason I have ever said that on a mail armor toon is I was hoping that finally we could get a decent looking mail set.

Id prefer the class/race match the content for sure. Forcing a new class into something it doesn’t fit is bound to cause issues with lore and player reception. Evokers and the dragonpeople fit what we’ve seen so far as well. only think I’m bummed on is the restrictions of both, but they make sense for the setting.

Personally I didn’t really care for the idea of a Tinkerer, I’d have preferred Bard, and I wouldn’t have minded San’layn, but eh? Like I’ve got Elves on both sides already that I can play to my heart’s content.
I get this, but at the same time, the reason they chose Belf Male and Human Female, is so they could “reperesent the playerbase”. As a huge thing they wanted players to do, is get to represent themseleves as their dragon, and the Elf male model is closer to a normal human by far then the actual human model, lol.
These are a LOT farther down the line of being done, the only thing that might be Alpha-esque is the Visage form. But considering that they have such detailed scales on the face, and that they WANT them to resemble players for representation of ourselves in the dragons…not to mention Ion saying they are a very far way into production already on it. I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
I wanted Dragon People, I wanted Dragon Magic, and I wanted a new ranged class that could heal. A lot of people did as well.
Is it wrong of me to want that a topic title actually relates to the topic post?
