I’m a player, and I don’t want any of that stuff in the game.
Just because you’re loud doesn’t mean you’re right.
Horde players don’t want them, though, and we have plenty of experience already with oversized races who can’t fit through doors, can’t click certain things, and got murdered (literally) by the old Undercity elevators.

Yeah I didn’t want any of those things. The dragon race/class however is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for.
I’m not against the other things listed, just didn’t care about them. I would support them being added. More options the better/more fun.
If they promised a re haul of the dragon appearance and the addition of more classes for their race they’d net more players on their side.

Current team does seem to lack ingenuity and fresh ideas. Most this expansion is rehashed assets and stolen ideas. I’m hoping they pull it off but I dont think we can survive a 3rd bad expansion…
First time a CGI expansion intro didnt give me that excitement feeling. But heres hoping tauren rogues keeps me hooked

Like it has been the biggest complaint about new classes since MoP that every single one has either been a leather wearing melee class or a plate wearing melee class.
lets not jump off the deep end and assume he said nobody, cuz he didn’t tbh. your linked threads show exactly what the poster said. A small yet vocal minority. you may see these communities are large if your part of them and that tends to shape people views. difference is as easy as the outside looking in and the inside looking out.
I’m not part of those communities. Never even liked those posts.
The fact is that if one can say that A = minority, then it should be proven that B = majority, but I don’t see proof of that. The most I’ve seen of dragon-related requests (pre Dragonflight reveal or even spoilers) have been in MMO Champion, and even those don’t gain much traction other than “oh that’s cool,” just like how one might say they like the idea of a Blademaster, but it doesn’t have that many people who support it.
So all this is just a collective group of people who think they are in the right.
The point of OP is very simple: some people asked for A, but got B. It might not sound nice to some people, or they may claim its whining or whatever, but it is factually sound.
Most of those posts about dragon people were written after dragon people were already in development. So employees trying to create the appearance of demand?
In any case, the basic design principle of the game is “The customer is always wrong, and everything is their fault.”
Right, so that’s why they are going back to old-school talent trees and removing borrowed power systems?

I think it’s hilarious that people at this point think they have all the details, when in fact we have none. Nothing is complete, nothing is fleshed out, we have no idea what the gameplay loop will be.
