For the life of me, I cannot fathom why this concept is so hard to understand.
In all honesty, I know it’s understood but evaded.

I thought the whole point was to ……level? Looks like a win-win to me, you get levels and possibly an upgrade to an existing piece and we get a better geared player in return.
Is it really difficult keeping up with 4-5 slots of gear while leveling? The average leveler is outfitted in BoA gear that levels with them. It’s also BiS gear if you’re leveling simply because of the XP bonus. The AH, WSG and AB vendors, the PvP vendors in Stormwind/Ogrimm, Area 52, Dalaran, etc… the options are there if you need gear. But why expect to step into a Player vs Player environment thinking that there aren’t players there making the most of their characters and can pull of some impressive numbers?
Because they’re leveling duh! Why put effort into a toon that you’re leveling?!
Apparently those 4 slots are hard to obtain the marks of honor for 2 of them.
because we exist…
Indeed, but even levelers are pulling impressive numbers. It’s just not an xp on/off issue, imo.
… So, your counter-argument is that levelers shouldn’t be in BGs unless they farm BiS gear to compete, thus outleveling the bracket and having a new bracket to farm BiS gear in? Thus, levelers shouldn’t be in BGs?
Because it’s not progression content. Maybe if the boxes gave more competitive gear, there would be less an issue. Maybe if enchants and gems played less a role, maybe it would be even less of an issue. But the disparity still exists.
People are lazy I inspect a lot of people in bgs cant help people who choose to come into bgs at like 25k health for example or come in with rez sickness seen 5 ppl in bgs last week come in with that cant fix bads
Personal peev of mine too
So lets work on balancing that instead of separating the playerbase. It seems thats the action Blizzard is taking and has taken. Balance rather than separation.
I agree! Hence why I brought up the idea of those two queues. No one is being discluded, and in fact it offers an alternative to the twinks that want to face other twinks.
But without such a system in place, yes. Twinks should be separated. The experience of the leveler should take precedence. Twinks are experiencing their own form of endgame when turning their experience off.
post can’t be empty
Same hate people who do that
I understand that with as much that goes into this game that 100% balance is a pipe dream. However, imo, that does not mean we don’t still strive for it.
The quote he was using was off someone that was… quite vitriolically attacking me for offering my criticisms on here. It was something.
Nope, not at all. what I am saying is with the heirloom pieces available you only have to keep up with 4 pieces of gear at least up until 60. Perhaps longer with the looming of 8.1.5 on the horizon. 4 pieces of gear, that’s it. You sound as if you don’t even realize how close the gear gap is from say a req lvl 30 piece of gear and a req lvl 39 piece is. I have stated earlier that the issue is spec and class issues but you failed to respond. You have made your mind up that separation is the answer. Gear is the least of the problem but you all refuse to see it so we all get to go around in circles until the thread gets locked.
Yet here’s your canned response:
Balancing doesn’t require separation. It requires Blizzard looking at class and spec OP abilities and adjusting appropriately. Again, your mind is made up…separation is the key…with you
Oh don’t get me wrong, I agree that balance should be strived for. I just found it funny that one person supporting twinks will call for balance, while another will call for ignoring balance entirely.
Don’t take that as an argument or anything. Just an entertaining juxtaposition.

Currently 4-0 and no GY camping/twinks running rampant two shotting everyone/anyone mentioning twinks in chat.
But my, my, my…look at all those hunters. Why almost a 3rd of the participants are hunters? Must be a reason…
