Will you quit being so aggressive and just talk? As I was from the start? I didn’t come here to talk down on people, I came here to offer my thoughts on what’s a very real problem in the game.
Now, to address the things you’ve brought up, that could maybe hold water in lower level brackets? Not entirely. But from 60’s+, it’s not that easy. It’s probably not even that easy before it. Even with just four slots (which isn’t the case at all for everybody), there’s still a very good chance you’ll outlevel your current bracket before getting the items you’d need to compete.
Edit: Even then, there’s next to no chance you’d make the gold needed in that time to enchant/gem/optimize appropriately.
Separating characters that have an eternity to gear as they wish from characters just passing through the bracket is a stepping stone on the way to achieving such balance if stats are not equalized in some manner.
That’s lucky! Sure wish I was you! But you can see the back-to-back-to-back posts I made yesterday, as well as the day before. Mauden’s posted his as well. Others have in this and other topics, too. If you’re trying to draw doubt in its existence, you have quite a task ahead of you.
Was this meant to be a mic drop? You made a claim that gear isn’t the problem, yet the posts/pics point clearly to the contrary. Your counter is reasserting it’s not a problem?
Honor tokens can be used to buy the old PvP gear, which has gem slots that accept gems bought with more honor tokens. Maybe Blizzard should buff the rate of receiving honor tokens?
Money problems aren’t really an issue when you can buy tokens for currency conversion
It’s PvP, yes. But not progression. Once you turn your experience off, you’re entering a progression phase of your own with its own unique optimizations.
Because Gear ISN’T the problem. Mic drop? you do realize you have to type 10 CHARACTERS in order to post, right? You assume the gear is the issue but it’s not. I can log onto a level 30 with the same gear as a level 39 of the same class and the difference is minimal.
Like I said, all you see is separation, you’re not looking for balance, a middle ground or anything else. You want to reap all the rewards yet sacrifice nothing or do anthing to get it. You just expect it.
So, though I don’t intend for this to sound hostile, it might. But you’re wrong. Blatantly. That ordeal with the MM hunter way above attests to that. One killed me in a global; I killed the other. The former was a twink; the latter wasn’t.
Am I not? Then what was the wall of text above where I carefully demonstrated a method of including twinks and levelers together and sparing everyone a long queue time? One that you’ve failed to provide any criticisms against, I might add.
They’re levelling. At that time, that’s their current method of progress. BGs are a method of levelling, and thus progression. But twinks are inhibiting that avenue severely.
How so? Are you not gaining experience or something? Are we taking up precious spots in the queue that could have been filled with someone that wants to level? Honestly help me understand you here. If you believe you can’t learn anything about your class or whatever because of “one shot” scenarios, I would argue that you should be focusing towards those over tuned abilities and not the xp on/off switch. Because the xp on/off switch is not what is killing you.
The dude said twinks were inhibiting the levelers. Twinks are just havin fun not stalling anyones leveling progress. Youre not entitled to win every BG
Album updated with first BG of 30’s. It was surprisingly lacking in twinks, there was only one I noticed between the teams. Still a loss, but a much less demoralizing one.
Progression is a matter of endgame content. Levelers are not in their endgame; twinks are. They’re in their own form of max level where they have all the time in the world to optimize accordingly. For a leveler, progression is raising their character level, not farming gear that will be obsolete once they leave that bracket – if they even happen to get it without outleveling the bracket altogether since the experience buffs.
Except, again, I pointed out above that I was able to kill one of these overpowered classes (and yes, they are pretty darn strong) when it was a leveler. But that same exact class killed me one one global because they were twink geared. One global. Aimed Shot into Arcane Shot. I’ve also provided other pics above with twinks of other classes (Paladin, Shaman, etc.) also doing disproportionate levels of damage.
So, yes. It is. I’ve been here a decade and know better.
They absolutely are, actually. Have you looked at any of the pictures provided at all? Or Mauden’s?
Yup and I dont see anyone preventing progression. You do get a little exp for losing right?? All I see is a few twinks playing the game as they want to. Level past them and hit 120 then enjoy the equal pvp hahaha … Cause 120 is equal too.
