As of now, 3 more games have been added to the album. I took a break since and I’m going to do more BGs now.

So far the results I’m seeing at very much at odds with what Juga has said previously, but the sample size is still low and only from one bracket.

You all are taking PvP too lightly as if it’s an afterthought. You’re queuing because you want free and easy exp or the next Allied race gear, because you sure as hell don’t want competition.

I PvP because I enjoy it. The EXP is there so I can level while doing something I enjoy. If there was no EXP while leveling, I wouldn’t do BGs until max because there’d be no actual gain to doing it. Surprisingly, I want to level while doing something enjoyable. If that enjoyable thing suddenly no longer allows me to level, I’ll put it off until it has some other reward available.

Also, I’d prefer not being labeled as “not wanting competition” from the person who is actively against making BGs more competitive for themselves.

So res and go where he isn’t. This is how you win as a team of playing objectives. Sure sometimes it’s a guaranteed loss, happens in pvp. Even at max level, there’s a player I just want to avoid if I lose 1v1s with them. Anyway time for work for me so last post.

Simply put, “if you don’t play the way I think you should play, then you’re just wrong”. I see. As I have stated many times, I see many levelers possess skills better than most twinks. They are rare but indeed they are out there. And why on earth would I want to sign up to only play 1 to 2 games on one given night of the week? I don’t play max level anymore, hell, I don’t even level any more. So basically you just want me to quit the game because I am interfering with your leveling?

It’s really no different than people lining up Chaos Bolts / Greater Pyros at 120 and getting 100-0’d in like < 5 seconds.

Let’s simplify it even further, CRITS happen. The stars align, and every so often stuff gets blown up. The hunter destroyed you all because he most likely had a supporting cast of players, you know, SUPPORTING him to do so. I would take a cohesive team over random twinks any day in any bracket I play in. Perhaps that’s the problem some just want to be that bg hero.

Not even gonna try and sugarcoat it, but you’re intentionally overlooking things if you chalk up literal one-shots left and right “crits”; I showed the pic, the guy killed people over and over again indiscriminately without even the slightest chance of stopping him.

So, everyone on my entire team that isn’t a twink should avoid playing any objectives so long as he’s at all near them? I’m truly astonished this somehow went back to defending that literal one-shots are happening.

been reading this thread off and on pretty often and I noticed something the complainers are bringing up the same 3 broken specs right now just further more proving what I said before class balance is the issue marksman hunter can 1 shot you with aimed shot my prideful hunter was destroying everyone easy in 111-119 bracket. Fury warrior is broken af at low lvl everyone knows this. and last but not least arcane mage missles. The rest has been trinkets/enchants that are getting nerfed soon

I don’t want you to quit, no. Though if you’re negatively impacted by playing the game in a niche way, you can always change.

And you’re intentionally leaving things out like who all was in the bg with this hunter. The jist I’m getting is that you are referring to a twink team decimating you at the gy while the “regular” hunter was a 1v1 encounter. Sound about right?

Right back at you. You can always turn that precious exp off for a few runs through a dungeon to better your standing within the bg.

Thus far, I’ve shown MM hunters, Fury warriors, Arcane mages, Elemental shamans, and even Mistweaver monks doing absurd levels of damage. All of whom happened to be twinks.

At what point do we actually analyze their gear and not just the class? I pointed out I was able to take out a non-twink MM hunter just fine.

That’s 3 globals, one of which is a 2.5s cast that you can outrange pretty easily. Justified? Not at all. But you could have been more observant and just walked out of range =/

Using BGs to level isn’t niche. It hasn’t been for nearly a decade now.
Twinking is and always has been niche, if it wasn’t there’d be no issue with queue times when separated.

Again, there is your problem. You must think that “BG” stands for board game. I hate to sound like a broken record, almost as much as I hate listening to your all’s incessant whining. BG stands for battleground, you know where PvP ( player vs player) takes place. I, for the life of me, don’t understand why you limit your characters in such a way that will almost ensure a loss.

You do realize that the random battlegrounds are entry level battlegrounds. There are no other battlegrounds for lesser players or “baddies” to play in to level. If there was many players would be doing those. Since these are entry level battlegrounds, not rated battlegrounds, one would expect to have novice or unskilled players in them. Twinks count on this and prey on this. Twinks are extremely skilled players. Sure there are some skilled levelers, but they are just leveling, like most. This is why its important to me for entry level battlegrounds to be fair and somewhat balanced. Hence twinks need to go.

It was one action. Aimed Shot-Arcane Shot immediately at end of cast. And overkill to boot.

In other words, you can’t justify it but you’re still going to pretend it’s my fault, despite the fact that I’ve held my own just fine against leveling MM hunters but the twink one-shot me.

Again, it’s player vs player not leveling only. If you show up in a bg you either need to be better prepared or just accept your fate that things will not go your way all the times.

Perhaps the answer is to have hero slots in the queue that only allow so many of us in a bg at once. Would hate to not queue with friends but it sure beats not playing any games as you all have demanded.
