Not really. I am using in game experience to come to my conclusion, same as everyone else.
I have not posted my experience over and over. Look and see where I post about me getting camped. Look really hard. There might be one or two post overall.
That’s all these threads turn into, about twinks gy camping.

While we’re talking about SS’s, I’m attempting to do something similar to what Juga did, I’m going to attempt to document every BG I do on an alt.

That album will be updated whenever my alt does a BG, sans the first two which I forgot to SS.
So far the 20’s bracket is not kind. 3/4 games involving twinks and 2/4 involving people complaining about said twinks.
I should add I’m also going to include people complaining about twinks, or twinks just in general acting negatively. As Juga claims to rarely see twink complaints, it’s something that seems worth documenting.

I disagree with this. Chances are good that yes, there is at least one twink in any given BG in a leveling bracket. However, as a twinker myself, I can say that on the whole we’re not a group of slavering murderers out to eat Gnomes and stomp levelers. Yes, there are folks like that. I’ve both played against them and with them, and that attitude is as distasteful to me as it is to you. Neither are we recklessly dominating in onesies and twosies. In an organized group of three or more? Yes, we can turn the tide of a BG if we’re smart. Then again, so can an organized group of just about any gear level. I’ve gone through too many BGs as a leveler to have not seen this many, many times. Gear helps, sometimes a lot, but cohesion will beat it. That being said, yes, a cohesive group of twinks will likely make a significant, perhaps game dominating, difference.
Regarding fighting for objectives; I know more twinks who focus on objectives than those who “sit mid” and farm kills. Again, this is a behavior that I’ve seen all manner of players partake in as I’ve leveled from 1-120 in BGs. It’s not specific to twinks.
Is it harder to challenge an organized group of twinks? Absolutely. Even when my group and I are playing we can still get wrecked by a more organized mixture of twink and non-twink. It comes down to the luck of the draw as far as group composition and if the random bunch of folks works together or not. Gear is not much of a factor when you’re getting focused by multiple players.
Neither are we all soul-less GY camping jerkfaces. I’ve been GY camped by more non-twinks than twinks. GY camping is a jerk move that is an unfortunate consequence of their battlefield design and the way honor and honorable kills are tallied.
Are GY camping and obviously not going for the objective (like intentionally not capping a flag in WSG) to farm kills jerk moves? Unequivocally, yes.
Are those behaviors specific to twinks and twinks alone? Unequivocally, no.
I’ve been doing BGs since Vanilla and only in the past two months have dabbled in twinking. Class imbalance, group composition imbalance, gear imbalance, and jerkface imbalance have been, and always will be, a part of random BGs. They got a whole lot more enjoyable and interesting for me when I accepted that there will be times, sometimes a lot of them, where the other team will dominate. Accepting the “win some, lose some, but always do as much as I can” mindset can go a long way toward making what is essentially unbalanceable content into something more enjoyable.
