Blizz you gotta separate out XP-Off Twinking

Yes, someone who agrees with you is credible an someone who doesn’t isn’t.

No, someone who has a long history of lying and trolling isn’t the credible source. Nice try though.

Yea basically.

Your perception of lying and trolling is anyone and everyone who doesn’t agree with the few points you’ve made, or just mocks the nonsense that makes up the rest of your posts.

Well compiled. I don’t get to drop in here and see what’s going on too often (sadly, looks like most of it has turned into hostility and a lack of constructive discussion), but perhaps I’ll get all my own screenshots compiled as well.

A few things to bear in mind here are that Blizzard has in mind that BGs are meant to be an alternate avenue of levelling now, though I feel that philosophy only holds for so long as the competitive environment – that being of twinks and anyone whose experience is turned off and are essentially experiencing their own form of endgame – is separated or templated/equalized in some manner.

I think one of the biggest problems here is that too many are looking at the opinions of others and feeling it’s a sort of crusade on their avenue of fun. In reality, many people (such as myself) simply like to supplement BGs into their leveling experience. They’re fun! Or, used to be. Some still are. But I won’t try and get on a tangent.

Ultimately, I do feel the best solution is to create two separate queues that twinks and non-twinks can sign on for: One that is templated/equalized, and another that is completely untouched by balancing factors in every sense. In the meanwhile, however, I do openly support re-separating twinks and non-twinks in leveling queues. It’s unfortunate for the rise of queue times for twinks, but I feel precedence should fall on the leveling experience.

You lied about me discrediting SS’s. It’s the other lock who says they can be edited.

Whatever you say, Willy :joy::rofl::joy:

Most here believe this is best for everyone. The rise in queue times will be very minor, just like last time. They made tighter communities among themselves and preferred it as stated several times on xpoff website.

And it does. Even a loss can net you up to a level at times.

The 19s to 39 bracket did. There are 7 other brackets to consider for low level Bgs.

Have you checked the Separation thread on that site? It makes for an interesting read for sure.

I actually have to disagree here. It’d be a significant rise in queue times. Particularly at higher levels. Except perhaps for flat 60’s and 70’s, though it’s been a long time since I played those twinks.

When I say experience, I mean enjoyment primarily. The leveling experience is decent… not optimal if you’re on a losing streak. But even if you’re gaining levels at a decent rate, it’s simply deterring and not very fun at all to feel as though you’re not making a difference in a BG. It’s particularly rough for me; I’ll openly admit that I loved being a “random BG hero” prior to the separation being lifted. Now I don’t want to touch BGs, and honestly, leveling allied races through PvP might’ve been the last thing of interest keeping me subscribed. Other than friends.

Find one or two people to group with if it’s that bad. Trust me, good levelers in a bg are not getting gy camped that much.

That’s what I assumed would be the case but some friends I have who twink said it really wasn’t as bad as some exaggerated. They compensated by closing the community which they liked because at that point, you knew everyone. Either way, it’s still the best suggestion.

Again… I mean this with all due respect, but I have to disagree. I showed you all SS’s of every BG I had yesterday morning; all but two were we utterly trashed and farmed. Often even with the enemy team deliberately forsaking objectives to do so.

Right! Like I said, there’s no perfect solution. One simply has to determine where the priority falls first whilst sorting out the fix.

And I showed you my SS’s as well. Games against twinks we still won and it comes down to players on each side.

But for your supposed experience, many more seem to claim having my same experience. Have you been queueing with friends? I’m asking that genuinely, not as a stab. I keep having to clarify these things for how easily things seem to get hostile in these threads. :stuck_out_tongue:

I did queue with one other and kang joined for one.

Then is it perhaps likely having the twinks on your side for those BGs is what tipped the balance?
