Interesting. I don’t actually know any of them yet but they are obviously twinks and probably from the same guild on moonguard. The second game is a combination of having really poor levelers (like you said. Comes down to players) and not playing for objectives. Also I think horde has an minor advantage on AB due to layout but that’s my opinion. On a different map it would be a different story.
Oh, they definitely were, we just did it better. Why all the excuses? I was told just having 1 or 2 twinks will create a GY camp every match. Clearly that is not the case. Did you read the OP?
Not making excuses. Simply my supposition on a bracket I’ve played in for weeks. It definitely takes more than 1 or 2 twinks to steamroll a game. If we push them back into GY we have more like 4 twinks and the enemy team probably isn’t very good.
There’s really not that many twinks in the 60’s bracket. The 70’s bracket is another story but of course it still varies based on the times you queue. I have a 79 warrior but ran into so many horde premades that I had a hard time playing him. So many disc priests twinks : /
oooo not what I read here, which is why I queued BGs in the 60s bracket tonight. 8-4 overall, 8 levels gained 1 GY camped game. Definitely not the GY fest people are posting about at all.
Oh, here it is. Guess they didn’t say lots of twinks, just a big stat difference. Which I guess is true, but it’s been shown that twinks (even twink premades) aren’t unstoppable.
So do twink players (I was one nine years ago, 19 hunter and 49 rogue) prefer to be in a separate bracket or for there to be “balance”? Why not have the ability to do either one ingame? Queue for xp off bracket or queue for the open bracket.
XP-On folks are demanding XP-Off folks be put in their own queue despite the fact that XP-On folks will level out of the bracket in fairly quick order. But someone lost a game and something has to be done about it…by the hand of Devs.
Me too, lots has changed since nine years ago.
Stats were normalized along with the massive overhauling of every item in World of Warcraft. The difference between the entry level gear (x1) and end bracket (x9) is very minimal in comparison.
Active players using BOA items combined with Dungeon, Quest, Crafted items are leveling through the Battlegrounds with ease.
8.1.5 will continue to follow the balance and togetherness theme.
Keeping the playerbase/community together along with constant attention and balance to gearing options is working well.
So I only played two games in the 60s bracket last night. First game was vs Jugaa and 8v10 until after 2 caps so a loss. Horde still didn’t camp the gy and I got to kill Jugaa once. I didn’t screenshot that one. Second game was 10v10 and felt very even. Alliance won with no gy camping! I even played shadow so being a disc priest wouldn’t be used as an excuse.
Dirty twink
But if every bracket is the same… then we just… level into a new twink bracket and face the same issue over and over? What kind of wunderkind space-logic are we dealing with here? Did I stumble into a “choose your own narrative” adventure book suddenly? Honestly, the collateral damage from this degree of logic bomb is going to affect all of our children; please god stop.
Bgs aren’t bad, you’re just getting paired with bad players leveling through. Would happen with twinks there or not.
Morning everyone, I am glad to see this will be yet another post on this subject continued on by the same people. I am glad to be a part of this haha.
Hey Sandyclaws, it was nice to see that things worked out for you.
Nothing like topping the charts while leveling through in BOA gear, it is the best of both worlds.
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. Most of this thread turned into pure joke replies last night.
Also, only about 2 Bgs out of 12 actually had players even mention twinks. I kind of wonder if the people who have others mention twinks in every bg start that conversation themself.
You can’t expect them to follow logic, as they are ego driven lol.
And here is the poster who discredits a SS, for the record.
Its really hard to believe anything you say or do to be honest.
Follow your own logic. What happens when you continue leveling bracket after bracket? Your temporary problem goes away and is suddenly replaced by all of the max level problems! HOORAY THOSE TWINKS ARE NO LONGER BOTHERING FRAGILE LITTLE YOU.
