I hope your right but I am looking it right now and it says my reward will be based off the lowest of my 4 runs this week (currently +2). Says run two more keys to unlock a second reward.
No. It isnāt.
The ease in which you can do content as a solo player is determined by your effort and ability to get it done.
That is not a correlation that blizzard purposely designed it with that in mind, which is what ācateringā means.
One has nothing to do with the other. Solo players are perfectly capable of doing and joining raids with arguably the same ease as M+, if they know how to use the tools in the game.
Againā¦ you donāt seem to understand how the system works.
I currently have some 7ās and 6ās this week that I am pushing. In between I have done over 15 2ās and 3ās to help guildies time their low keys and it hasnāt effected my Vault at all.
It was great when it was a challenge mode and you got certain aesthetic choices from it, it was ruined when it became a gear grind.
Yay someone that knows how the vault works, lol.
Well, thatās kind of the point.
In a guild/friend run itās relaxed even if someone messes up.
We know nobody is going to rage quit to berate anyone for any mistake.
We know everyone will be able to listen/learn the mechanics.
Not saying every pug is bad of course, but itās night and day.
So thereās 3 tier in the Vault.
1st tier: one piece of loot from highest timed key.
2nd tier: run 4 keys, lvl is based off lowest of the top 4 keys ran.
3rd tier: run at least 10 keys, lvl based off lowest key overall for the week.
Thatās the best way I can explain it. It doesnāt punish you, it rewards you commensurate to your effort.
They really didā¦ This is ridiculous.
Thanks, Iām alright though.
People called it in the beta my dude.
TBC will come out pretty quick once SL starts to set new sub loss records.
Yāall ask for this. When you said āno more titanforgingā
Blizz gave so much loot because of it. Now that is more meaningful they gave less to compensete
Ooh thatās fair enough. The consideration I had was that the chest gives a higher item level of which weāll have multiple to choose from. Although in theory we can still spam m+ till fully geared itās has a lower item level meaning the goal is to still replace it. This stands in contrast to a quick way to reach 465 but a hit/miss chance at 475 weapons/armour in BfA.
I think the, hopefully, unintended consequence of this change is going to be a tank and healer shortage. I would expect it to be worse than late season after tanks and healers get the gear they want faster than dps.
Every single dungeon I do with no reward makes me less likely to do another one. Not more, less, because the 15th time in an instance is less interesting than the 14th and Iām not as excited about the 16th.
Thanks for agreeing with me? It seems you donāt understand the system. Its very simple, if you are pushing to get the best gear, you are punished for helping others with lower keys. Why do anything below say, straight 10s, if it guaranteeās you a choice of higher ilvl gear from the same M+, three times. Or you could get ONE choice from that level, and two other lower level choices. Is it starting to make sense now?
This system doesnāt foster ācommunityā or helping people out. If anything, it exacerbates the elitist problem that permeates the M+ community to an even greater degree.
Fun fact. World quests also hardly ever reward gear as well!
Extra loot in M+ would just mean they have to nerf it further in ilvl, and Iām not sure you would like that.
The fact that you have no limits on your rewards means there has to be other limits in place instead.
Also itās literally week 1, do you need to be fully geared by now? And if you are and loot dropping is what makes M+ interesting and rewarding to you then what do you plan on doing once you are fully geared?
There was always a limit in place on m+ loot. In fact, itās still there. Itās just more limited than it used to be in previous expacs.
No, it doesnāt.
You want high tier gear, from doing low tier content and then calling it āelitistā. lol
The issue with Mythic+ was, and honestly still is, that you get loot equivalent to comparable levels of raiding but without any form of lockout. Itās unreasonable to expect both a high drop chance on loot AND infinite loot opportunities. Raiding is like a 15% chance of loot per boss once a week. It has a lockout AND low chances. I cleared everything but the last boss this week and got 0 loot.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record having said this in just about any thread about loot, I honestly donāt see why Blizz didnāt bring a currency system back. Didnāt get loot, but look, you still made progress towards an upgrade. Therefore your time doesnāt feel as wasted, and you can set a goal for yourself.
Elitist in that if you donāt have a high raiderio, it implies immediately that you arenāt competent in any facet of the game. That sort of elitism. Try and keep up with the conversation.
Kinda fine with it tbh, but i dont really see much point in +2 being more rewarding than doing 3 bosses on normal.
